i think it is coming back. the problem is in dance music most producers dont know how to work with its sound. its EXTREMELY easy to go overboard with the sax sound, but if u do it right, its prolly the best sound in dance music. i have a few tunes that have sax solos in my collection and these songs have TRULY inspired me to create good dance music with that sound, but first i gotta get tings right.
My god these songs are magnificent! Especially Running Out of Time by Max Cruise! I have never heard a song that makes me want to drop everything and start dancing. Sway to the beat yes, dance like mad no. pure eargasm.
I like how you designed timestamps in the description. I've used identical format for mixes on ThePrimeThanatos' channel. It makes my sleep deprived OCD brain calm.
I don't usually care for vocalized retrowave, but after listening to PRIZM more I have to say that I'm now a believer. They're like all the best aspects of female 80's pop rolled together; the youthful exuberance of Madonna and Paula Abdul, with the soul and vocal range of Whitney Houston. Big fan now.
Who remembers the movie lost boys .the scene with the random sax dude playing lol I feel like I'm in a 80's crimes series . gathering my gear to go catch the bad guy . montage of me getting ready and the bad guy preparing for me lol love it . now all I need is Ferrari
This playlist really made my head go up and down but then out of no where it was whole upper body left and right and that was amazing. Seriously though thank you so much people like you are what keeps life fresh and craving more I salute you beautiful sax loving person you made me move…in my heart…
[01:53:58] 🎷 Aeronexus - Uprising (feat. Tim Cappello) I need Kung Fury's outfit, a Walkman, a PowerGlove, coke and a Gen 3 Liftback Celica. What a fucking banger!
Words are just words until action actually starts...and actions speak louder than words... but at the same time words speak louder than actions because sometimes it's the right thing to do.
I remember a more classy era when Fred Myers had a lot of light fixtures and brass looking stuff for sell when they would play Saxophone music in the early 90s. An era that kids today will be hard pressed to experience in life. I had the lucky experience of working at a dying K-mart as well that just seemed so much more well built than todays plastic veneer everything with fake prints on top of it. Even back then they still built stuff cheaply but not quite as cheaply as they do now.
I'm not sure why but when I hear this I think about driving down the 10 in a convertible Mitsubishi So Cal wearing a grey shoulder pad heavy blazer High on the finest powder moving Qualouds to Tijuana..
Without looking at the desription I thought I heard Tim Capello in some of the tunes and I am happy I wa correct! I love the mix! Subscribed and looking forward for more.
I like part 1's background better. The cyberpunk vibe from the city was fitting to the synthwave music. I'm kind of surprised that there was only one song from The Midnight on part 2. Regardless, parts 1 and 2 are great!
@@RetrowaveTouch thanks for giving these lesser known artists a chance as well their music is truly brilliant, it is just not famous. I hope one day these lesser known artists also make it big.

thank you!!! the ads on youtube were killing me I wasn't about to buy two music service subscriptions

nice art portrait to Timmy Cappello, I love the movie to The Lost Boys, 1987
It's animation from the video clip of Dark All Day by Gunship (available in UA-cam)
Sax solos are due for a well deserved comeback in popular music.
Ahhhhh.... The Saxophone. The overlooked hero of the 80's sound. Pair it with some killer electric guitar and you've got a winning combo!
All Fleccas and Richard Ratboy fans are gonna make this video get a bunch more plays!🥲
"Hey what kind of music do you listen to?"
"Synth and Sax."
"Synx"

This is a vibe while cruising Night City
I feel like the popularity of the sax has fallen off since the 80s and 90s. It needs to come back.
Seriously, absolutely criminal

That brutal sax turns listeners into 80s Chads. What a blast you have given us, respect and success in your life.
Max Cruise is just a different beast with a saxophone and guitar I love it
The sax in these is beyond lit beyond 🔥 it is magic.
