Next is closure most of those private prisons, and redirect most of the fundings to improve the remaining smaller numbers of prisons and drugs rehabilitation programs. Without war in drugs, you aren't going to need as many prisons as before.
China also is very strict... basically they did start the war on drug 2-3 years ago, and they won the war on drugs... basically no more drug, no people selling, and no people daring to even try to find a place to buy, and if one person is catch, It has to give away 10 names of people taking drugs or he face very harsh consequences, result if a few people find a way to get some, they will hide It from everybody even their friends.

@@Sourwhatup making a joke and not making a joke, very different
@@ArchieStiglitz You're joke would be funny if it wasn't misinformation.
As someone who is from Oregon, and who voted yes on the measure to decriminalize drugs, I personally disapprove of recreational drug use. However, people are going to do them regardless of whether they are legal or not. And I don't think doing drugs is something that should ruin someone's entire life because they either can't get treatment or they're incarcerated for it, and history has shown that making them illegal doesn't solve the problem.
Thanks for your perspective! :D

Exactly, people fail to understand that LSD is a natural substance derived from mushrooms that create psychoactive effects. There are no adverse side effects and it’s impossible to overdose on it as the body expels it naturally. Heroin and opiods are an entirely other substance

I think they’d have to wait a bit and see what effect it has before they can properly approach it. Still sounds interesting
It’s based on the same system that Portugal instituted in 2001, which has led to a decrease in addiction and fatal overdoses. The idea is that instead of putting drug users in jail just for drugs, you invest that money into addiction recovery for addicts instead, and people who are responsible users aren’t concerned with going to prison for having small amounts on them. Distribution and manufacturing is still illegal though.
@@lukaspederson3923 yeah even if they do a video on that
