awesome vid fire alarm went off in my school today i told everyone to leave safely and sensibly then everyone apart from me because i take safety seriously run in silly ways and were not sensible i was the only sensible one in my class that followed all rules
hahah they need to revamp their products. their engineers seem to have gotten too comfy. dont get me wrong they are good build quality just their mode of operation and power consumption blows.
Its so amazing that apollos are the most common used im amazed and a expert on apllos and gents. it is good to use the gas to test the alarm for all alarms. but some people are using cigarettes and im not really a faan of testing like that but good test!
My Grandma has the optical smoke detector in the caravan. It never goes off as there is not a chance of a fire and it is an optical detector. I have the Ionisation version of it. It has went off 6 times and it was only cooking.
the CO detector is AICO's Radiolink type, it pairs with a radio link panel interface module. in the panel interface module there are 3 relays 1 for fire alarm, one for carbon monoxide and one for fault status. each of these relays switch the inputs on the panel. there is no way for the panel to know the intensity of smoke or carbon monoxide. its just relay contacts closing, the only devices that can report back a varying level of smoke, heat, carbon monoxide etc are the devices that can communicate back to the controller via a digital protocol.

Good test! I will just say, you should only need a half second squirt of the smoke sabre to set off the alarms.
9:41 one tiny atom of smoke and 26 times of pushing the button constantly before it shuts up typical aico

@@testlogs9005 they just need to make something like ctec hush activ
@@matthewjones9259 i got to play around with a ctec hush system in the wild another day i have to say i am quite impressed.
👍 ok

May I ask what’s the difference between the alarms u use in the homes to what u use in Businesses like shops, airports, restaurants etc
Flexibility and finer control depending on the gear. For example you can adjust sensitivities, have sounders turn on in sections to control evacuation
@@testlogs9005 ok

Yea
Thanks for showing the beacon in the garage
i have to apologise for the short duration i didnt realize the camera missed a few flashes before moving on.
At least you managed to get 2 flashes of the beacon at 8:20

Fun i got apollo in my School
@@Bartolini8655 I definitely have Apollo in my school too, the thing is I have only saw 1 sounder. We have more FireCell and Sonos than Apollo.
ya in scotland?
yes
I live in North west England and they have a lot of Apollo at the Sainsbury’s over the road from Alder Hey.
Love the alarms and I like the voice sounder best 😁😁😁😁

What happened with the old smoke alarm which u replaced with the Apollo?
When I test 26 coming?
Hello, just wondering if you were gonna do Addressable system test 26?
Conner, Can you do a video about the garage symphoni sounder
how do you know his name??????
Nice video, question, when was the last time it went off when it wasn’t a test, and what caused it?
dodgy smoke sensor in hidden space was the last false alarm. its quite robust against going off on a whim.
pshaw
your system is a very nice neat setup
I love yor fire alarms
When's test 26
Apollo fire alarm is the best
What's that pole mate?
the test spray pole?
@@testlogs9005 yeah mate
@@mssecurity1930 i made it. its 20mm conduit pipe and 3D printed parts i designed
@@testlogs9005 nice one u should sell them

how come when your co2 is triggered it doesn't do alert anymore?

@@testlogs9005 I'm assuming they're referring to the fact it just triggers the fire alarm, when the alarm isn't for fire
Wow very cool test it jumpscared me in the corbored
In the loft I think he's name was gamble or he just said it.
