- Yes, I did another graduation project. Lol. Our last child is graduating and since they didn’t get the normal senior stuff I’m trying to make his party special. So there will probably be other grad projects lol.
This is a very simple explosion box. You can add more flips, flaps, pockets etc to yours but I kept mine simple since my son won’t appreciate it enough to hold on to it lol.
Excuse my grammar in the video I was up late crafting and doing videos at 2am-which is probably why I struggled speaking in it lol.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments below.
Enjoy

Here is the tutorial that I used for the base, it’s a Rosa Kelly tutorial:

Love it! Father’s Day is a good idea! TFS!
Hi there, did you ever do another tutorial for the graduation explosion box?? I have to make a couple and I saw below that Erika had requested one and you were going to make one when you made the other boxes?? If so, could you please provide me the link?? Also- where did you find the blue button?? I need to do 2 blue baps and am having a hard time finding a button that doesn't have the holes in it. Thanks so much.
Sorry I know I never got around to it. I’m traveling otherwise I will look at my notes and give you the measurements. What the button is made from circle punch. I punched out a bunch of them including together and then pop them up with foam. 😉
Hello love this graduation project would you mind making a tutorial?
Sorry just noticed that I missed this comment. I have to make a couple this week so I can do a tutorial if you still need one. Lmk 😉
I’ll add the tutorial that I followed for the base in the description
Thank you I appreciated
Hello one question what are the measurements for the top of the lid so it can look like a graduation cap?
I won’t be home until tomorrow to double check but I think the first base is 8x8 and I just glued it on top of main lid.
I also punched out a bunch of circles then glued them together and popped it up with foam n that was the button on top of hat 😉
