Get Sandler on the Podcast, that would probably be a huge episode.
They would flow together- a mass hole and a New Hampshire cat
Yesss
It be awsome but I don't think he does podcast I'm not sure though.
His guest has Jack Nicholas manersisms so cool
Ill pass
Anger management is the most underrated comedy of all time. One of the funniest movies ever made.
I SAID OVEREASY!
Yeah Sandler and Nicholson absolutely kill it for the entirety of the movie. John C Reilly as the monk is also great.
I love when fucks that dudes car up and leaves his card😂
Goosfrabba😂
I told you not to go there ! I told you not to go there!
I rewatch that more than any of his other movies. Funny every time 😂
I like how Sandler will just occasionally do a dramatic movie to remind us that he’s a well-rounded, talented guy…. and then go right back to his normal stuff because it’s what makes him happy 😂
Fr bro was so good in one I legit thought he was depressed dude had me so in I was like fuk he's gonna kill himself lmao 🤣
It's what makes him money. Him and Tyler Perry used the same sort of formula.
I cant think of the name , its like.. Murder something , just came out and its surprisingly hilarious , its him and Jennifer Anniston .
@@Vicstheone murder mystery. They just came out with the sequel last month. They are very well made movies. It’s not so much of Sandler’s dumb humor, but it’s still very funny
How did they not mention the Waterboy?
Sandlers movies are the type of movies that I can watch no matter how many times and I will still enjoy them. His serious roles are great movies as well, but his comedy ones are the ones that the family can always watch and always enjoy
Adam Sandler is beyond underrated these days. That man remapped comedy in the early to mid 90s and everyone followed his lead and comedy has evolved from then on. The man built an empire, he is a household name, like joe said you can be of any age and watch any of his movies and enjoy it and take something different from each movie and different ages. I can not say enough good things about him.
Click is the first movie to make me tear up, after I came out of the theater I called my parents to tell them I loved them. Wish I did it more now that my father has passed on. Now that I have children of my own I realize they always saw me as their baby no matter how old I got
I've loved that movie since the first time I rented it from Blockbusters and at some point got my mom to buy the DVD. I've watched in a LOT of times since then. It's just such a wholesome family appreciation film with some hilarious moments and really pulls on the heartstrings multiple times.
I loved that one too. I was totally caught off guard by it…had no idea what I was about to get into. I was bawling like a baby.
Dork
Great film. So funny and emotional. When he farts in the hoffs face, then presses play 😂 I was crying laughing
Agreed
Watched Billy Madison with my two nephews who have never seen it. Of course my family has seen the movie 100 times, but it was hilarious to see their reactions. At first they thought it was stupid, but at the same time couldn't stop watching it. By the end they were laughing so hard. Sandler is the king.
You found the perfect audience for Sandler. Adolescent boys.
Greatest Sandler movie and one of the greatest comedies of all time
You described the feeling for the first time viewers perfectly 👌
Uncut gems is such a damn good movie. Highly recommend that. It’s literally nonstop anxiety and suspense
@@ashtheviking5007 I'll add it to my list. I saw it in the comment and heard ppl talk about it. Never thought I'd like Adam in a serious role but Uncut Gems changed that. I'll watch it
"O'Doyle rules!!!"
Owning Mahoney. The late Philip Seymour Hoffman. He played the same character before Sandler on Uncut Gems. Its tough to get through, same emotions.
@@DanielDenoted Also the late John Hurt in Owning Mahoney (2003) Its the best
Crazy ending…
“You don’t like Happy Gilmore, you can go fuck yourself “🤣 made my day!
Reign Over Me was great! It was Sandler being himself, but a dramatic tragedy. Very compelling!
Came here to same the same thing.
Very underrated film and he did amazing in it.
Great movie that I never want to see again.. haha. Really sad.
Awesome film and plus made me discover a badass PS2 game "Shadow of the Colossus"
I cry everytime I watch it 😂
Everybody forgot to mention 50 First Dates. He played a fairly serious role and was great on that movie. Him and Drew Barrymore have this special bond to me. They look good together.
He makes movies for his fans and its amazing to watch. That is the best part of his work. And the fact that he also drops family friendly stuff is a damn blessing in a world where they just love putting sex and explosions in everything because it sells.
Also, Uncut Gems is great, but if you want to see more dramatic Sandler Reign Over Me is absolutely amazing.
Punch drunk love is his best movie ever
@srsieg it's one of my least favorite, but he's very good in it. Ever seen Reign Over Me?
@@triz313 understandable. And yes, love it. funny enough when I was probably 12 or 13 I watched reign over me and punch drunk back to back. Great night lol
Reign over me had me crying bro fr
@@nuttbuster1094 it's by far the best of the 9/11 films by far. It was so emotional.
Adam Sandlers such a gem! Family movie nights all the time!
He's not just any gem. He's an uncut gem.
I absolutely love the generation I grew up in.
I was born in 1985 and it will forever be engraved into me that I got to see Adam Sandler, Chris Farley and Jim Breuer, along with another great legend Norm McDonald...all on Saturday night live!
Also yes, Adam Sandler movies are great to just sit down and drink a few beers and just zone out from this crazy world.
anxiety attack is the perfect way to explain uncut gems lol. i felt the same way watching that movie.
Love Sandler. An incredible dramatic role he does is reign over me. It’s a must watch even people who don’t like Sandler movies have respect for it.
Sandler is a great example of. Mind your business. He doesnt care about critics or any. He is having a blast filming with his buddies and giving ok entertainment that slowly has been better than what AAA studios release nowdays.
The man looks happy and enjoying life i could never hate on that heck i envy it tbh
He was also on epsteins list. He doesn't just mind his business
@@hughjanus9557 stfu who cares.
@@hughjanus9557 90% of entertainment people and people in power have gone there. It is a cult for the elite and rich. 🤷🏽♂️ Until is proven he was there then i cant hate the man.
@@KrikZ32 🤣 he looks eternally tired as fuck. Like he pulled a 3 overnights and hang outs back to back
"ok entertainment" ? Did you really just say that... I think his movies are highly entertaining and really funny, not just "ok"
Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Billy Maddison, Mr Deeds, Anger Management. People forget sometimes how many brilliant movies he has made. Were lucky to have him here 👍
Grandma's boy might be one of my favorite comedy's of all time
His best movie ever was “ Reign on me “ . That was the first serious role I seen him in & he was amazing.
Love that movie
Definitely not his best
Happy Gilmore is one of two movies im watching on my death bed, and Big Daddy was the first movie I honestly remember shedding a tear at. "I wipe my own ass!" if you had a dry eye, your a serial killer...
We used to always do the spit thing 😂
Touchè
@@TheStupidDetectiv heep hop anonymous?
I just watched that with my 9 year old that part gets me every time! “I know buddy, that’s not what it is.”
Ow! Scuba Steve! Damn you!
Having a close relationship with Norm MacDonald probably have Sandler a good point of reference for the character in Uncut Gems.
Big Daddy & Waterboy had me & my brother in absolute hysterical laughter as kids, to this day we still quote it and we're both close to 40.
GATERAAADDEEEEE
H2O
🎶Water sucks! It really really sucks!🎶
H20
Big Daddy is great. But Waterboy had me crying of laughter as a kid...like I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard.
"Let's hear what mama has to say on the subject."
At one time I swear Waterboy was one of the largest memed and quoted movies of a few generations
Ive always hoped someone mentioned Spanglish among Sandler movies one day! It's always been my favorite..i always like when he does serious ones and in Spanglish he nailed the caring calm mannered tired family man overun by his neurotic wife while trying to deny his attraction to the maid. This was dope!
Why does "thats my boy" not get any love?? That one made me laugh my ass off. So under-rated
Probably slipped the mind but that movie 100% is hilarious.
So true
I think it's his funniest film but it probably goes under the radar because it wasn't a hit at the box office. All of his films are entertaining other than his first one, Going Overboard.
Very underrated Sandler movie
Adam Sandler in hustle is amazing! A serious role with his classic comedic flare 11/10 recommend
Adam Sandler in Reign over me is one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. Watch him finally tell don Cheadle what happened to
Him and if you don’t cry you are a monster
i just commented about that 1 too. dope movie. and sandler acts so good
The Zohan is one of the most underrated comedies ever.
Punch Drunk Love, the Sandler movie I was not ready for because it was not a goofy comedy, became one of my favorite Sandler films.
I agree, that film is amazing. I also really liked Spanglish, although I don't know if that is an Adam Sandler movie or rather a movie that happens to star Adam Sandler.
I watched half of it and turned it off… maybe the 2nd half is better because I class that as the worst film I’ve ever seen 🤣😭
Can't go wrong with Paul Thomas Anderson in general!
@@raistrickintheskin dude I did the same thing, I watched less than 20 minutes into punch drunk love and then turned it off, couldn’t do it, was ruining my perception of Adam Sandler as the funny man that he is
Punch-drunk love is the most affecting movie Sandler has ever done IMO. It is shockingly awesome in a nerve racking way. The type of movie that makes you call the one you love to let them know how you feel. I think I went into momentary insanity watching that movie. If you half-ass watch the movie you'll never get it. Know ahead of time it's an immersive experience.
Jack and Jill is my favorite movie of all time. An absolute masterpiece!
You can't have seen many movies. I give that movie 5/10.
His worst movie lol
I love Sandler movies. They're so under appreciated.
Only by critics.
Come on now. Some of his movies are dreadful
@@tevildo45pretty much everything he produced in the last 20 years is for money laundering.
Most of his movies are rubbish.
Same jokes in everyone of his movies.
Over and over and over again.
Don't get me wrong. Happy Gilmore, Waterboy, Little Nicky were funny films.
The rest are absolute turds.
The Murder Mystery ones that recently came out are a return to form, and are great.
But the rest (Chuck and Larry, etc), are cheap toilet humour, full of boring 5 year old jokes.
Very low brow comedy.
Jim Carey is miles better.
@@craiggibbons8228 What about his romcoms, they are formulaic but still a fun watch; such as Blended, 50 first dates, Wedding Singer, etc...
Hubie Halloween didn't break any new ground but was a fun Halloween release a couple of years ago.
I understand being critical but clearly he is resonating with a large audience. You can be critical without sticking your nose up and tens of millions of people who enjoy many of his movies.
Adam and drew always make such great films, they are meant for each other
I’m always in mood for a Adam Sandler movie. And Spanglish is one my favorite Sandler movies. Also reign over me he had me in tears. He just played the heart broken guy who lost his kids in 911 to good.
I find Sandler’s career arc fascinating. He started out his career with some pretty raunchy comedy albums but has spent the last 25+ years making family friendly comedies.
When I was 12 I walked to Blockbuster & rented BillyMadison. I watched it 10x in 3 days. Good memories.
Jim “Mike Francesa?”
Joe “dude a lot of good actors are in it”
Ah yes the multi academy award winner Mike Francesa from WFAN
“That’s My Boy” was highly funny and underrated.
Adam is not looking to be a five-star Michelin chef. He's flipping burgers at McDonalds and loves every minute of it.
He makes the best Quarter pound combos for sure
The Sandler basketball movie is freaking awesome!! And Hubbie Halloween!!! When is Sandler on the podcast!!!
When you put it like that, I hope he doesn’t turn into that chef from The Menu. He is happy cooking burgers and the freakin critics drive him nuts.
Spanglish was good movie.
@@robbank8027It’s a GREAT movie!
Saw Jim in Denver years ago. I’ll always remember how cool he was to everyone.
The guy could not have been nicer to the fans.
Joe hit the nail on the head. My 12 year old loves all the Sandler movies and so do I haha!! Every spring we watch Grown Ups to get us in the summer mood. Love them all. His old albums were pure gold too! Not for kids but really funny.
Grown Ups 2 is the only one worth watching
So hard to choose between Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey so many all time great movies!
Uncut Gems is the only movie that has made me want to jump into the screen and slap a character. The amount of anxiety is insane. Great movie. 👍🍻
This podcast actually made me watch the movie spanglish and I was not disappointed his movies are truly amazing
I would like to see a Naked Gun/Airplane style of ridiculous dead pan, playing it straight comedy. Leslie Nielsen was great.
Classic! Slapstick at its finest 😂
I had the opportunity to work in 2 of Leslie's last few movies...of course they sucked compared to his comedy hay days.
Only Adam Sandler could pull off a fist fight with Bob Barker! Hilarious.
You Don't Mess With The Zohan is one of my favorite comedies of all time
Very underappreciated
My favorite Sandler movie is Punch Drunk Love, one of the most original movies ever and one of Adams best performances. Zohan is an underated comedy also, total original
I watched punch drunk love years ago and still think of scenes all the time
Reign Over Me (2007)
one of Sandler's best.
i wanted him to play Bob Dylan after that.
"Desire" (the album) the movie.
Uncut Gems and Punch Drunk Love will always be my all time favorite Sandler movie performances.
Jim would be amazing in a Sandler movie. We need it
Joe described it exactly how I felt. Watched it once I don’t think I could see it again, it was so nerve wracking
Don't mess with the Zohan.. is amazing 👏
I love when people at the top of their field give spontaneous sincere praise to other professionals. Rogan is really good at that. He gives respect whenever he feels like it's deserved. He doesn't seem to feel jealousy, if he likes something he tells people about it.
Click never fails to make me cry
Yeah Adam is worth 450 million and has earned every penny of it... He's brought a lot of happiness to the world.. 🤟❤️
The Cobbler was great.
I'm a lover of Sandler films.
His sketch/music comedy albums from the 90s also damn funny and juvenile in the best way
The goat,
Toll booth willy
Lunch lady land 🎶
I loved the movie Click. It was such a surprise.
2:05 is basically the sum of all Owen Willson impressions 😂
I honestly think Adam is the Jackie Chan of comedy movies. Both guys will make you laugh, feel bad about certain situation, maybe shed a tear or two and then have you cackling most of the time. They might teach you a thing or two about life without coming off as preachy.
Funny People is a super underrated Sandler movie.
Reign over me, he was phenomenal in that movie
Sandler has always been one of my favorite actors I can't get enough of his movies. I just watched Spaceman and Hustle a few days ago and Hubie Halloween for the second time this morning.
Adam Sandlers last comedy special on Netflix was brilliant. He's the absolute bomb.
'There was a bee. I swear it was a bee' I still quote the scene from The Zohan. The best!
Big daddy still cracks me up to this day. Same for little Nicky.
Punch Drunk Love, an amazing amalgam of Sandler weirdness in a serious role. Highly underrated.
Uncut gems is one of the few movies where I was sweating, like literally sweating in the theater and that ending was just next level
I remember leaving the theater and every ones jaw was dropped
Sandler is a legend! I remember back when I was a young teen and my cousin showed me the "What the Hell Happened to Me" cassette tape and those audio skits had me in tears.
Uncut gems is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, I’ll never watch it again. 💎💎💎💎💎
Joe saying “uncut gemssss” 🤣🤣🤣
2:46 Mike Francesa?
Yeah a lot of really good actors in it
😂😂😂
Rogan being ignored by Jamie and Jim while he’s repeatedly saying “uncuhh jaaaahmz” is hilarious
"You figela buddy"😂😂 zohan
Not Joe with Julia Fox impression 😂
Reign over me is one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies. He can play
any character I'm convinced.
Adam sandler LITERALLY made my childhood great
He's made my adulthood great! lol.
@@jasonmartin7137Mine, too. My two daughters loved Sandler’s movies. I bought them every one and we used to watch them together. His comedies were fantastic! But, I especially loved his dramas/romantic comedies. If I could meet one current actor, it would be Adam Sandler.
"Punch-Drunk Love" is a real gem, too.
watching waterboy as a child made me a sandler fan for life. love the dude
1:50 the movie Jim was talking about was Reign over me not Spanglish. Reign over me was a very serious movie that touches on 9/11
That movie was fuckin deep
Uncut Gems came out when there were no good movies, and I was so happy to watch it.
Jim: Mike Francesca?!
Joe: Yes, lots of great actors in that movie.
The Spanish fly is a pro wrestling move lmao
“You don’t go to a JoJo Siwa concert and expect Pink Floyd.” Lmaooo
Reign over me is a great film, he plays his character so well. Very underrated film.
Bob barker whopping ass 🤣 is the funniest
The places he went to in Reign on Me were unbelievable for the Sandman, Heartbreaking.
Hustle, Click, uncut gems are some of my favorites. Adam Sandler does mostly well in his dramatic roles too.
Anyone here after Sandler was on the pod ? I’m happy to see Joe was a fan of the great sand man
Honestly why does nobody talk about how funny Jim’s mannerisms are😂😂 every sentence ends with him screaming or making a whole setting or scene with his head in 3rd person lmao
Half Baked is one of my favorites of all time. Uncut jems was crazy good!
I'm old enough to remember buying his cds and we would have listening parties in the barracks while getting wasted.
I watched wedding singer on a plane. I was laughing my ass off in my seat. 😅
OMG I thought I liked Joe Rogan before seeing this, but now he's part of the family. I love Adam Sandler so much that I feel like he's an old friend. I watch Sandler movies when I need to go back to a time when everything was less serious.
The soundtrack for uncut gems was also soo good
I know Jim brought up Spanglish. But the most underrated movie he ever did that was a serious role is ‘Reign Over Me’. If anyone reading this hasn’t watched it. Go ahead and do that now. It’s actually crazy how so few people ever mention that one. It might’ve even been better than Uncut Gems imo. And nobody ever really praised him for it
"My wife didn't enjoy it."
"That means it's good." 😂
His bobby boucher character will always be my favorite😂, wa wa wa water boy!
Jan, stop it! 😆 🤣 😂
I was yelling at my TV watching Uncut Gems. What a movie!
