- The Banshee trike is finished!
This started life as a YZ250 Chassis, we then cut/ modified it to make this banshee engine work.. We added our complete trike kit - along with a ton of custom parts.. to make the banshee trike come to life.

@@BVCOFFROAD I've seen a friend's banshee that had T4 toomies had stock carbs stock airbox , milled head for 93 octane pump gas ported with the triple exhaust and boost ports , timing plate mod with an 160 pound rider +1 up front sprocket -1 down on rear gps'd @ 97 mph.
Completely bad ass threewheeler. As are most of your projects. Old dog new tricks. I heard you comment on fork length as "having a good stance" but that adjustment affects wheelbase which in turn affects steering charactaristics. Which the engineers had figured out by riding position. 1/4 inch =big change. Your company is killing it dude. Much love.
Thanks man… i appreciate that! and yes 1” taken out of forks to adjust rake angle ( steepen angle of forks) which helps steering being its a dirt bike chassis. When we do our own custom frame , we will be able to make those tweaks on the head tube angle. Right now its stance is perfect for high speed stability , and at the same time there is no push in the front end when steering at slower speeds💪🏼
You struck gold with that build. Gonna be a insane dune monster right there with the huge weight shed. Throw a maxed out banshee motor, drag pipes, and a longer swingarm with 10 paddle extremes. Hold on for dear life. I would love to see that thing rip up Banshee hill at Dumont.

I agree its hard to beat that sound. I was so picky about it i spent hours messing with intake and tuning… that intake is no longer my full time job 🤣🤣🤠 onto the nxt project

That is such a awesome bike; maybe my favorite color and graphics on any of your amazing builds. When I was a kid, in the 1970s, I was a massive Yamaha fan. By first bike was a DT100. That classic yellow with black dashed striping was the coolest of all dirt bike designs. You guys really out-did yourselves on this one. Great job!

I sold my 85 TriZ 13 years ago and have regrets. I've had my heart set on a Tecate since I was 15 years old. I'm in awe of this Banshee too. Can you possibly do a Tecate like you have this TriZ? I'm a serious buyer and I'm curious about how much serious $$$ it will cost. I love your work. I respect what you do. If the price is right, I'll do this. Thank you for your time!

Now that's sweet, I own a 85 n 86! Put bottom end of 86(white/red) in the 85 (yellow/black) n ported n polished 30 over n that thing would smoke banshee!! Just to small for a 6'4" 260 guy. Lol nice job !!

Back in the day I took a Yamaha 350 three wheeler in trade on a pick up.. I had a blast on that thing!! It was fast and with the small slicker tires on it man it was a drifter!! The trick was to keep it wound up and hang on.. lmao

I had a two in to one manifold made by trinity racing. I used a khein carb 38PJ it worked really well with the billet head, big bore, port polish… probably could have used 39PWK, but I always liked the clean strong bottom end the PJ gave. The carb you’re using was not available or I didn’t know about them in 92. I would have like a larger carb for the top end?

Not into cutting up quad frames but could possibly use the power plant and shaft drive on a custom frame

Don't get me rong it is a 1of a kind trike & it is bad ass but I still got 2go with me gut and say there's nothing else like the 1986 honda 250R trike out there and there never will be enything like it that's just my thot on it just be safe out there don't get a lawsuit on u for selling them like the Japan people

A one into two carb setup has always been more efficient.A two into one pipe is would have been more efficient also.Much better bottom end and throttle response.
I just cant get over how strange the 2 into 1 pipes sound maybe i. Heard one that wasnt setup right
But absolutely on the carb its just simpler and faster to tune the 1. Alot less parts on the bike too
