Him not knowing what "he will knock four times" means is so amazing to me. As the actor he genuinely has no clue what was going on just like the rest of us or those who were watching it when it first aired
Watching through all of Davids video diaries for the series you can see that as much as he absolutely loves the role, he knows he cants make Dr Who a very long term project as some of the previous drs may have done. The long hours were clearly quite trying :( But I'm so glad he did the series and I've loved watching his view of the whole thing !
