A commercial brought me here and it's 2020! It's lovely though!
Same too 😂😂
Me too
Ditto.
Once again the usual correspondents say..brought here by a film a TV show or an advert. No mention at all about Nat King Cole or the great band arrangement. Well I was brought here by Nat King Cole and the great band arrangement
Beautiful times that don't come back ever.
Who can't love the voice of Nat King Cole. Awesome
This is what you call " dancing with the real stars".
Fred & Ginger where magic!!
Actually Astaire danced most of those clips with Rita Hayworth, his favourite dance partner. Ginger Rodgers had a quite athletic/sporty style (similar to Gene Kelly, and would have fitted better with him), but for sheer elegance nothing beats Astaire and Hayworth … they really brought out the best in each other.
i love this1 and nat king cole and rita hayworth--she was a wonderful dancer
Wow they don't make them like that anymore. Loved that!
Thank you Sara, I could watch these dance numbers all day.
It's so bizarre that there are some people who didn't like this . Amazing.
I'd love to have a dance like that these daysss!!
A food commercial brought me here. Everyone was doing a pose. One man almost spilled a glass of milk and another man about to drop the layer birthday cake on the sleeping woman.
Yes!!!! That’s what brought me here as well, ♥️🙂🤣😃 although I’m a big
Nat King Cole fan!!
Yeah Amazon Prime
I know this is some years after the event, but please let me add what a well-researched video this is, to find all those sequences and, in some cases, fragments, which sync with the music, and then to edit them together so professionally. Thank you.
I so love this video with Nat playing..so appropriate. classic.
Loved it - i love Cary, Deborah, Ginger and Fred but my favourite part was Katharine Hepburn & James Stewart dancing on the wall.
Marvellous.Simply great.
Great song and wonderful sound quality
You forgot to mention one important detail - though it will obvious to many, it won't be to all - the wonderful and (dare I say it) unforgettable Nat King Cole singing this.
Beautiful Dahling !!! Absolutely fabulous :)
Great montage that features lovely Irving Berlin song and several of Hollywood's best dance scene clips.
Great music, great clips. One of the greatest sings in history
hulu commercial won this time.. this song is so clean..
Love it two of the best such a beautiful song can't get enough of it
Thanks Sara ! Always loved that song, Nat King Cole and all those musicals !! Pure delight !
Simply stupendous!!!! Perla.
The first scene is from the film "You were never lovelier" with Rita Hayworth and Fred Astaire.
The music they are dancing to in the film is "I'm old fashioned" by Jerome Kern and Johnnie Mercer.
Rita's voice was dubbed by Anita Ellis.
I have always liked watching Fred Astaire dance. He was so graceful.
This is one of my favorite dance tunes, and I love your montage of dance movie clips! Excellent!
Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth! Loved 'em both.
I love this era.. music, movies, and clothing.. all the wonderful hats! lol Even the architecture.. Fantastic back then! ~Thank you for a little snippet of yesteryear I can drift to sleep thinking about~;)
My dad always sung this when I was a kid- though he only seemed to know the words to the first verse. I remembered it today (I'm 21 now) and this is the first time I've actually heard it all :) Nice video - can't beat the way they used captured the magic in films.
I have no idea if you're still on UA-cam, but I'm 21 now remembering it today because my dad sung it to me as a kid, just like you, so I just thought I'd comment 12 years later. Hope all is well.
coincidence or not imho four of the greatest dancers in history lived during the same era and performed together countless of times, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Rita Hayworth & Ginger Rogers. This will never happen again
Saw this years ago and it hasn't left my mind since but I couldn't find it! Anyway, here it is and I'm so thrilled! please never take this down
fantastic audio very nice video a classic song
15 dislikes? Really? What kind of person doesn't like to smile?

So cute! A lovely video tribute.
Ever more !!!!!
Nobody can be near with Rita and Fred!
Sara, That's lovely. The older I become, the more I want to retreat into that kind of world musically and I prefer the films, TV and radio of that time. Its a wonderful marriage of sound and vision you have produced. When I post that song as my favourite Jam sometime soon I shall link to your video..
Thanks x
Well said. My thoughts exactly.
Rita Hayworth is cute cute cute!!
I l o v e i t. Cyd Charisse the best
Oh, so amazing! And a great rendition of the song too (which, in my opinion, can be deliciously haunting).
