SubhanAllah Sayyidi so many immense jewels and realities in this talk! 1) Don't place importance on dreams, but instead focus on taffakur and real-time connection with your Shaykh. Keep a shyness regarding spiritual experiences. 2) Some of the students who are not me, and are physically far from the Shaykh, are advancing much faster than I am. I am very happy for those people and it is a testament to the power of our beautiful Shaykh! May Allah (swt) bless them and their loved ones, and I hope that they pray for me to improve! 3) The modern music industry is an updated version of ancient satanic rites, and the singers are the priests/priestesses, who are misguided and misguide others. May Allah (swt) guide those people and guide us also, to understand and to come against our nafs. 4) Life is like a video game. At every level there is a new test or opponent within, and we need to acquire the proper "treasures" and "tools" of that level and previous levels in order to be successful and overcome that test or internal opponent. The wudu, taweez, zikr, awrad, salat, taffakur, all of these are necessary practices to handle the negative energy and difficulties of life, and to successfully advance through these tests. 5) Shaytan attacks through the mind, not the heart (which is guarded) or the feet or the hands etc. His attack is to the mind, to bring negative thoughts, negative emotion, internal whispers and all sorts of inspirations. Wudu, salawats, zikr, salat, all of the spiritual practices work to shield the person from the attacks of Shaytan.
I'm not really into Islam, more into Buddhism, Taoism, Zen, but I like listening to this man. It sounds pretty similar. A friend of mine converted to Islam a while ago and I brought up Sufism, the mystical side of Islam. He told me that it was not proper Islam and rejected it. To me it's the purest form.

I must agree with gaining knowledge through online aspects. We are told not to go to other countries or cities if we have a sickness or if we know that City to have a sickness. Thank you always beloved Sheikh especially the final reminder to call in prayer upon our Sheikh as I am asking Allah to open my heart to these teachings this comment was very helpful as when I first embraced Islam I spent many years seeking Allah alone with the understanding that this is what the Quran teaches and having come from a Roman Catholic upbringing which always prays to saints ect I am now trying to grasp the truth and bridge the gap between the oneness of Allah whom alone we praise and the heavenly Helpers support we need so thank you Sheikh for patiently continuing to explain these realities to us and forgive us our weaknesses and difficulties
Salam sister, congratulations on reverting to Islam. I am a born muslim and arabic speaker, and I can tell you that the VAST majority of muslims (perhaps 90%?) do not hold the same beliefs as this man or this sect does. Indeed Allah is one and we only worship him and seek his help alone. As is evident from the first Surat of the Quran, the Fatiha. In the view of the majority, what this guy says about seeking help from so called saints is blasphemy. Please be careful and I suggest you learn more from mainstream Sunni Islam. Salam.
@@nabeelkubba Salam sister thank you for your kind message. SubhanaAllah nothing hides for Allah especially these serious matters. I have listened to many ‘Sheikhs’ over the years and I it is always in the Sufi circles that my heart feels the truth undeniably. Until now there was never a living Sheikh for me to follow and I have read lots of Bawa Muhaiyadeens spoken word (his fellowship in Philadelphia has many books of his talks available for free online) and Bawa explained that a living Sheikh is preferable and a Sheikh who cuts away everything Dunya until Man meets God so to speak. For me this is the only ‘Man’ bless his soul whom Allah has guided me to for help in spiritual matters. The reality is complex and hard to grasp as the key is a purified heart which is not easy for many of us. Sister thank you and I pray Allah blesses you and guides you Allah always knows best. I was in prayer meditating this Sheikh and asking in prayer about this matter of remembering the pious Saints making a connection ect and that doubt in my heart triggered your email so SubhanaAllah may Allah help us both on our journey of life and give us success that we die in the way of Allah and we are not deceived ameen

SubhanAllah Sayyidi so many immense jewels and realities in this talk! 1) Don't place importance on dreams, but instead focus on taffakur and real-time connection with your Shaykh. Keep a shyness regarding spiritual experiences. 2) Some of the students who are not me, and are physically far from the Shaykh, are advancing much faster than I am. I am very happy for those people and it is a testament to the power of our beautiful Shaykh! May Allah (swt) bless them and their loved ones, and I hope that they pray for me to improve! 3) The modern music industry is an updated version of ancient satanic rites, and the singers are the priests/priestesses, who are misguided and misguide others. May Allah (swt) guide those people and guide us also, to understand and to come against our nafs. 4) Life is like a video game. At every level there is a new test or opponent within, and we need to acquire the proper "treasures" and "tools" of that level and previous levels in order to be successful and overcome that test or internal opponent. The wudu, taweez, zikr, awrad, salat, taffakur, all of these are necessary practices to handle the negative energy and difficulties of life, and to successfully advance through these tests. 5) Shaytan attacks through the mind, not the heart (which is guarded) or the feet or the hands etc. His attack is to the mind, to bring negative thoughts, negative emotion, internal whispers and all sorts of inspirations. Wudu, salawats, zikr, salat, all of the spiritual practices work to shield the person from the attacks of Shaytan.
I'm not really into Islam, more into Buddhism, Taoism, Zen, but I like listening to this man. It sounds pretty similar. A friend of mine converted to Islam a while ago and I brought up Sufism, the mystical side of Islam. He told me that it was not proper Islam and rejected it. To me it's the purest form.

Salam sister, congratulations on reverting to Islam. I am a born muslim and arabic speaker, and I can tell you that the VAST majority of muslims (perhaps 90%?) do not hold the same beliefs as this man or this sect does. Indeed Allah is one and we only worship him and seek his help alone. As is evident from the first Surat of the Quran, the Fatiha. In the view of the majority, what this guy says about seeking help from so called saints is blasphemy. Please be careful and I suggest you learn more from mainstream Sunni Islam. Salam.

I have listened to many ‘Sheikhs’ over the years and I it is always in the Sufi circles that my heart feels the truth undeniably. Until now there was never a living Sheikh for me to follow and I have read lots of Bawa Muhaiyadeens spoken word (his fellowship in Philadelphia has many books of his talks available for free online) and Bawa explained that a living Sheikh is preferable and a Sheikh who cuts away everything Dunya until Man meets God so to speak. For me this is the only ‘Man’ bless his soul whom Allah has guided me to for help in spiritual matters. The reality is complex and hard to grasp as the key is a purified heart which is not easy for many of us. Sister thank you and I pray Allah blesses you and guides you Allah always knows best. I was in prayer meditating this Sheikh and asking in prayer about this matter of remembering the pious Saints making a connection ect and that doubt in my heart triggered your email so SubhanaAllah may Allah help us both on our journey of life and give us success that we die in the way of Allah and we are not deceived ameen
