Great info as usual. I'd love to see a vid on youtube ad structure at some point. I recently created 3 video campaigns for a client and was trying to figure out the best way to structure them. I chose to go with option B but I’m not sure if that was the right choice. First off, I think a 15sec, 30sec and 45-1min option would have been better than the 6sec vid, as 6sec didn’t seem long enough to give someone the opportunity to click the ad. With option B, I noticed Google heavily focused on showing placement audience 1 over the other 2 in every campaign. Any thoughts on what would be better? Option A Campaign one: placement audience #1 -ad group 1: 6 sec video -ad group 2: 15 sec video -ad group 3: 30 sec video Campaign two: placement audience #2 -ad group 1: 6 sec video -ad group 2: 15 sec video -ad group 3: 30 sec video Campaign three: placement audience #3 -ad group 1: 6 sec video -ad group 2: 15 sec video -ad group 3: 30 sec video Option B Campaign one: 6 sec video -ad group 1:placement audience #1 -ad group 2: placement audience #2 -ad group 3: placement audience #3 Campaign two: 15 sec video -ad group 1:placement audience #1 -ad group 2: placement audience #2 -ad group 3: placement audience #3 Campaign three: 30 sec video -ad group 1:placement audience #1 -ad group 2: placement audience #2 -ad group 3: placement audience #3 Each ad group in both options only had 1 ad.
Is there way to monitor that really someone saw my non-skippable youtube ad video apart from Google campaign stats? In other words, how to make sure that Google stats do not lie while we cannot see counted views on UA-cam stats for non-skippable ads?
I always skip ads as soon as possible and have never bought anything. Occasionally I click on some of the wackier products out of interest but would never dream of buying from some random website.
this is next level information, amazing content man
Thanks for watching!
