So glad to hear it, All Rounder Saawan! It's wonderful to see you again and thank you so much for watching so many of our shows. Hope we'll see you soon and please have an awesome week!
That's an excellent question, Anitaben! Hot Melt Pan Glue from Oasis is available to order on-line. Just search for it and you will find it easily. Keep in mind that it is different from the glue used in a glue gun. Thanks so much for being with us today and for watching our show. We hope to see you again soon for more Tulip Tuesday Tips with Leanne. All the best to you!
Thank you for your kind words of support, Geraldine! We just found your comment and hope that all is well with you. You probably will still need tape for some of your designs, but this is a great alternative when you need it. Delighted you could join us and we hope to see you again very soon. Best wishes to you!
It's lovely to see you again, Phillip! We have missed you in the last couple of weeks. Yes, this is an excellent idea indeed and it really works well for containers where you cannot tape your foam. So pleased that you could join us again for Tulip Tuesday Tips, and we look forward to hosting you again soon. Wishing you a peaceful and happy week with flowers!
That's a great question, LadyEliza! It's pan melt glue (a form of hot glue). It is very strong and bonds well for a secure hold. Thank you so much for taking time to join us for this Tulip Tuesday Tip and we hope we'll see you again very soon. Wishing you a lovely and peaceful week!
Interesting.... How is this different from hot glue? I am new to this and don't understand the answers given - that they are similar but different. Could you expand on when to use hot glue and when to use melted glue? And why hot glue might not be right? Thank you so much for such interesting ideas and helpful schooling!
That's an excellent question, Cheryl! One isn't necessarily better than the other; rather they have different uses depending on what you are creating. In this case, Leanne wanted to assure that the floral foam is securely attached to the plate and the best way to do that was to use Hot Melt Pan Glue from Oasis, which is available to order on-line. It is a high-strength glue that forms a very strong bond between the materials being glued. In terms of efficiency, this method is much faster as well, and it covers the entire surface of the foam quickly and easily. This is particularly useful if you are designing for an event and need to make a lot of arrangements in a short amount of time. We hope this information helps and you find this technique useful. Thank you very much for watching this unique Tulip Tuesday Tip and we hope you will join us again very soon for more marvelous floral design with Leanne. Wishing you all the best and please have a wonderful week!
@@FlowerSchool~ Thank you! I am non-professional who recently found your channel and who enjoys your videos. I've learned a lot... for which I thank you! I just love the plate idea - (as eclectic as I may be, I had no idea how to make a design on a plate happen) for my home. Now I know. ;)
Those are great questions, Kimberly! It's best to get hold of an electric skillet made for glue and if you search on-line or check at your craft store, you can probably find one. As for letting it dry, you want it to be good and set before you wet the foam so 24 hours would be ideal. Thanks so much for taking time to watch our show today and we hope you will join us again soon or when you find the time. Wishing a marvelous first week of summer!
That's an excellent question, Sophiasflowers! One isn't necessarily better than the other; rather they have different uses depending on what you are creating. So happy you could join us for another one of Leanne's Tulip Tuesday Tips and thank you for watching our show. Wishing you peace and flowers this week!
Your questions are superb, Thebee2345 Ch, and we really appreciate you sharing them with us! Yes, water with flower food is the best way to hydrate and protect your flowers. Flower food helps them to be fresh and beautiful because it feeds your blooms and kills any bacteria in the water as well. Thank you very much for taking the time to join us for this Tulip Tuesday Tip and we look forward to seeing you very soon. Best wishes for a marvelous week!
Hello, Love your videos! Can the floral foam be adhered to something like a foam and used like oasis sheet foam? I'm looking to create artwork without the expense of the sheet foam. Thanks
That's an excellent question, Vanita and an interesting idea! It's not something we've tried, but it may be worth exploring. When you are doing something new like this, we always recommend that you experiment with it before you need it so you know how it will perform and whether it will hold up for what you are creating. Thank you for taking the time to watch our Tulip Tuesday Tip and for saying hello. We are delighted to have you join us and hope that we'll see you again soon. Happy Thanksgiving and wishing you all the best for the holiday and beyond!
That's an excellent question, Saras! Yes, Leanne used wet foam for this wonderful Tulip Tuesday Tip. We hope you found it useful and will give it a try for one of your designs. Thank you for taking the time to watch our show and for sharing marvelous floral design tips and techniques with us. Sending you best wishes for a lovely weekend in every way!
That's a great question, Michelle! The materials include roses, pittosporum, Italian ruscus, freesia, and wax flower. Thanks so much for taking in this Tulip Tuesday Tip with us. We are happy you joined us and look forward to seeing you very soon. Best wishes for your weekend.
That's an interesting question, Hinh! The challenge is that you need new foam for a new floral design, and it may be difficult to remove the foam from the plate once it's fully bonded to it. It would be better to pick up a package of plates so you can create several of these at one time and have them ready for your floral designs. Thanks so much for being with us for this useful Tulip Tuesday Tip and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Wishing you all the best!
It's possible, Hinh, but we wouldn't recommend it! Getting the old flower foam off the plate may be a challenge as would be removing the old glue. Part of what makes the flower foam adhere well to the plate is the smooth, clean surface free of any other materials. You also have to factor in the time involved in cleaning the plates and could that be used for a better purpose? The best way to find out is to experiment and see what happens. Thanks for your questions and very best wishes to you!

What an incredibly labor saving and meaningful tip at so many levels! I especially appreciate the extra space on the foam not taken by the tape.🌸🍃
