I love Star Trek Adventures. I am in two games of STA at the moment, one I run in the TOS era, and one I play in as the Captain in the NextGen era. It is absolutely one of the greatest systems out there in my honest opinion. I also have several other games for the 2d20 system including the new Fallout 2d20.
I played a lot of FASA trek back in the day. I tried with this version but ,in my view, the 2D20 system is fatally flawed and the starship copmbat is a nightmare.
I love the placement of the book, really blends in with the mat lol. Cool video. Looks like a cool RPG. Do you think Mobiious is handling the RPG better then FASA did?
@@dangarthemighty0980I've got Fasa's Deluxe edition and I find it was decent at the time. It also includes all the stuff needed for ship battles. The best part is the player stations on the bridge to actually roleplay control of the ship. It does suffer however from a world building perspective. You'd think they would've put some info in from planets and destinations in some of the shows. Very limited in that aspect. It's more the wargamers rpg. But then, that's was FASA did. Such as Robotech.
I'm sure they could, but they probably wouldn't see a reason to do that. They did try to warn humanity on a few occasions but that was the extent to which they would involve themselves. At least that is my take on it.

Sounds cool
I hope I can play it at a convention someday in the future
I just got most of my Starfinder books. My next thing is to get the Core Rule books for Star Trek and Star Wars.

Have you had a chance yet to run it and did you get the Gamma Quadrant yet?

It is a hell of a lot better then FASA's version. Modiphius is doing a phenomenal job with Star Trek and there are some awesome expansions to come.
I have no experience with the FASA version. Was that the one where all the books had pictures from the TV shows on them?
@@DravenSwiftbow That and late 80's style artwork, Also had the Start Trek Starship Combat Simulator boardgame included.
@@rochedl Would that be the deluxe edition by FASA?

Couldn't Q just remove the Borgs?

@@DravenSwiftbow Yeah. Q has always been morally ambiguous.
