    Homogenized or not I was right there with you thinking what do I have on the wall to match his descriptions. And I’m covered pretty well. Best thing is now I have a better understanding why!

    Does the legnth of the butt section of a rod have any pro's or con's when choosing a rod specifically for throwin' top water?

      Great question! I personally definitely like the shorter handles for working topwater lures so much more comfortable and way less fatigue

    Bin vertical challenged my whole life 😂 medium and medium heavy good information about fast action to moderate. But the line is still a major issue with rods and setup.

    CA, I've been following you for some time and appreciate your teachings and passion for the sport. I have bought many of the products you recommend and have been successful with a lot of them so thanks for the good advice. I wade fish the Tampa/St Pete waters often and also fish from a paddle board so I have limited space for rods. When wade fishing I only bring one rod so need the versatility. On the paddle board I can bring 2 setups which is nice. When wade fishing, I find my 7ft medium/fast spin setup covers me for both topwater and soft plastics. When I can bring two rods I use a 6'9" casting setup for topwater and other plugs and my 7ft spin rod is dedicated to soft plastics. If you could only have two setups to cover most inshore applications what would they be?

      Boy that’s a tough question for someone like myself who loves options. But if forced to choose a 7’-7’3 Medium/Fast spinner and a 7’3” MH/Mod Fast caster. I can do a lot with these two setups from finesse to power fishing!

    hey i have seen your past reviews on the shimano tranx 151 but i cant seem to find out what rod to use you have any recommendations?

    • @flatsclasscharters
      @flatsclasscharters 3 місяці тому +1

      7’ to 7’3” Medium or MH rods would be best depending on lure weight and technique
