There are two Storioni violins in use where I live. One is owned by an orchestral player , and the sound is unbelievably huge. This player arranged for one son to get his own Storioni, which is completely different. As a concertmaster in an orchestra, he occasionally does some solo playing, depending on the piece at hand. His Storioni really rises to the occasion. Its of the golden color, where his parent’s is the dark reddish style varnish.
Awww, I’m really looking forward to seeing this series. Love your violins, especially the antiqued Guarneri-models so much🎻! Just waiting to win the lottery😅…
The most under rated violin maker of all time. Rostropovich played a Storioni cello on almost all his recordings, even though he had a Strad. His best instruments sound completely full noble and sonorous, full of silvery sweetness, comparable to any Strad or Del Gesu.

Wonderful video! Thank you! Cannot wait to watch more from you!
Thank you.
Thank you. It's so nice to hear about luthiers, other than Stradivari. I love the sound of Amati's violins.
You have a very talented violinist in your video.
Fascinating.

Me, too. I would then travel to Cremona.
Great video thank you for this series!! It’s such a nice way of getting insight about these masters from contemporary geniuses in the same field.
Thank you for this series! Great job!
Bellissimo. Grazie per queste importanti informazioni.
The Lady has superb intonation particularly in the octaves variation of the Paganini piece. Very interesting choice of atire though.
Very cool!
very nice! The violins sound amazing!
