What's your point on that Also, are actual Digital SAT tests (Verbal parts only) resembling the ones on Bluebook. Thank you in advance.

Do you think the Khan Academy DSAT math questions are accurate and reflective of true DSAT questions, or are the ones in Collegboard's DSAT question bank better? I personally find that Khan Academy's questions are somewhat different.
glad you found it helpful. In terms of these questions, 1. Obviously, practice using Erica Meltzer. If you’re not naturally good at English, she explains some strategies you can use to do these questions more easily. 2. Reading more often. I think this helps because of a psychological phenomena: whilst reading, most people don’t want to pick up a dictionary and interrupt their flow. Therefore, they will automatically try to best make sense of a word even if they don’t know it. This subconscious practice might help you in the long run.
hii brother, I'm from India and studying in GRADE 11TH can we prep for SAT along with JEE. As i can do SAT maths but i have to devote some time in english...
You said that Erica's book is useful for English reading and writing section. But the reading section is completely different from the paper sat now. So is it useful for us to use that resource?
Read outside of the SAT, especially non-fiction content. This will get your brain used to using context to derive meanings of words you don't know, therefore helping with vocabulary.
I would say that the old reading tests are still valuable as they help your critical reading skills. Since the digital SAT has few resources, I’d say that practising with the paper-based SAT is a good option.
I think you can. I did do a grammar one but was short on time, so I didn't do too many. However, the same principle stands: they're testing the same skills differently, so if one is good at the paper format, I would expect one to do well in the digital one as well. Hope this helps!
Read as much as you can outside of the SAT- it'll help improve your contextual understanding. Essentially, you want to use clues from the other words in the sentence, see what they mean and establish a vague sense of meaning for the entire sentence, after which you can match the answer to the sentence.
Hey man loved the vid! I just wanted to ask you a small question regarding the difficulity of the DSAT when compared to the advanced questions on khan academy and the practice tests on bluebook . Are they similar or y'know, really different?

And when do you suggest doing the practice tests? What are your thoughts on Uworld ? Do you recommend it? One last question. What type of books do you suggest for reading? Thank you in advance!
No issues, I’ll try my best to answer each of the questions one by one. If you’re preparing for the August SAT, I’d say yes, you can begin with QAS tests and Erica Meltzer’s books. You can use the same answer reviewal strategy I did for these. Around July or so, mark out when you’ll do your digital practice tests and follow the same. I’ve heard Uworld is pretty decent for the pen and paper SAT. I’d suggest sticking to QAS tests, however, if you REALLY want some skill based practice and can afford it sure, go for it. You could then do a test, fill the table, and practice and improve using Erica Metlzer and Uworld. As for reading, read what you like! Literally. I read this book called Freakonomics during those 10 days, but it isn’t really about what you read; instead the quality of the book you read and the fact that you’re processing everything. Needless to say, don’t pick anything obscure that’s too difficult to read, or wimpy kid either. Choose a book on a subject you like and that you’ll enjoy, whether fiction or non fiction. Hello Parth, thank you for making this video talking a little about your experience on the Dsat, as an international investor from Brazil, I feel that there is still little explanation about the digital SAT, and I have been a little lost in what I need to study. Would you mind answering a few questions about dsat? 1- What books did you use to study for the sat? 2- Does the content of the Khan Academy and the bluebook really help, and are the simulations good examples and practices for Dsat?
hey! i’ve taken a couple tests on the Bluebook app and i’m still at around 1460 all thanks to silly mistakes and my first attempt is in may. do you have any advice on how to not let the fear of not completing on time affect you?
1. you can try doing the test with the timer off (there's a toggle) so you won't see the time at all unless you want to. 2. think of why you're feeling nervous (and therefore making silly mistakes). Something is detracting from your focus. Once you figure out what that is, you won't stress about time anymore. One thing that may help is getting more confident with reading stuff, which might make you feel more calm during the english section, allowing you to understand stuff in one go and therefore not make silly mistakes/ worry about time. 3. Attempt the test in passes; don't spend excessive time on a question but at the same time if you do decide to solve it, read it through properly and make sure you're not missing any keywords (now you even highlight/annotate them digitally)
you said that you did first the grammer ones in reading but why just in the first module ? if it is an effective way to solve questions why do you dont apply it to both of the modules
primarily because the flow is broken. Think about it- reading, being the tougher section, you wanna do when you're in peak flow and when you're warmed up- that's why I use grammar to warm up the first reading section, which in turn serves as warm up for the 2nd reading section. If you don't do that, you'll break your flow in the more difficult second module.
hey i am little bit nervous about test but i also wanna know that does it require like some sports involvement to get an addmission in any college if yes than what are the sports because bro i haven't in any national or not even in district i am bit confused i have filled the registration form and i was also want to know like the whole process how they reach you , can we talk personally i guess it would be helpful or i am also ok with comments it's upto you i got some more questions if you did reply i reply and ask some more ' '\
@@parthjain29 so there are a lot of vocab questions as compared the contextual quantitative and stuff questions, i mean when i was practising on KHAN the first 3-4 topics were a little harder but in the bluebook tests those are tested the least. Is that the real DSAT too?

2. think of why you're feeling nervous (and therefore making silly mistakes). Something is detracting from your focus. Once you figure out what that is, you won't stress about time anymore. One thing that may help is getting more confident with reading stuff, which might make you feel more calm during the english section, allowing you to understand stuff in one go and therefore not make silly mistakes/ worry about time.
3. Attempt the test in passes; don't spend excessive time on a question but at the same time if you do decide to solve it, read it through properly and make sure you're not missing any keywords (now you even highlight/annotate them digitally)
you keep asking if your English is correct, YOU'RE REALLY GOOD AT ENGLISH!
In which class it should be recommended to give Sat exam ?
Basically after 12th but you can give it in the class of 11th too as there are 4 attempts
bro can you guide best book for english DSAT 2023
Erica Meltzer’s Reading and Grammar books
@@parthjain29 thanks so much bro 😇
thnx bro
you said that you did first the grammer ones in reading but why just in the first module ? if it is an effective way to solve questions why do you dont apply it to both of the modules
primarily because the flow is broken. Think about it- reading, being the tougher section, you wanna do when you're in peak flow and when you're warmed up- that's why I use grammar to warm up the first reading section, which in turn serves as warm up for the 2nd reading section. If you don't do that, you'll break your flow in the more difficult second module.
hey i am little bit nervous about test but i also wanna know that does it require like some sports involvement to get an addmission in any college if yes than what are the sports because bro i haven't in any national or not even in district i am bit confused i have filled the registration form and i was also want to know like the whole process how they reach you , can we talk personally i guess it would be helpful or i am also ok with comments it's upto you
i got some more questions if you did reply i reply and ask some more ' '\
please tell me ASAP whether the real dsat test is of the sae level as the bluebook practice tests
yes
@@parthjain29 so there are a lot of vocab questions as compared the contextual quantitative and stuff questions, i mean when i was practising on KHAN the first 3-4 topics were a little harder but in the bluebook tests those are tested the least. Is that the real DSAT too?
for english which book did u read to develop your understanding level?
Didn't read it for any purpose per se but it did help- Freakonomics. Also, you can really read anything, I think the premise of it being helpful is whether or not it is explaining a concept similar to SAT passages
At 6:23 you mentioned an author that helps with reading section what’s her name again 😅
erica meltzer
Hey @parthjainjpis
Will the results of digital SAT be mailed to us since there is a section for mailing address in which we are supposed to give ZIP code and address?
Alternatively, can the online score reports be used in college application, are they legit and recognized by universities (online score reports)?
Does digital SAT give any weight to college application and being accepted?
Thanks in advance!
1. Not sure if they'll be mailed 2. Yes, you can use the score send option 3. Depending on whether you submit it and your background, sure
