I've been to Japan twice for Pride Fighting and was always impressed with the cleanliness. What surprised me most was what happened after the event. Spectators stayed behind to clean. Take this video for example. Have a look in a ditch near your home and take note of all the garbage. Then rewatch this video. The whole world needs to take a lesson in civility. Well done, Japan.

Fish for small fish then catch a whale.. Always the same with fishing. Great sound effects, great humour. When you got the carp in the net I actually shouted YES myself. I think using that net is actually more fun than using a pole net, you did really well. Good job! Here, add one more to your list of subs :)
I could see the artistic feature of the very slim and flexible rod without a reel used by some Japanese, but it is very difficult to land a relatively big fish. May be they are useful in the situations that I don't know.
yeah, even some people catch king salmon with this straight pole. Well, thing is that I was suppose to catch crucian carp which 3m straight pole is strong enough to catch them. But this time, common carp was big overpowered compare to the fexibility of this 3m pole. the basic reason to use straight pole is because it is more thrilling than a rod with reel. That net is for high bridges...to lift up fish...not to trow down 1 meter from margins, lol, You just want to fish hard without a nice 3M carbon telescoping landing net :)

Hahahaha can feel your pain watching this video. Just couple weeks ago i had the same problem, wrong rod, wrong line and a carp bites. Took me 1 hour to land the fish. It was 16 lbs and 60cm and i had a 6lbs line. Love your videos, keep em comming. Got yourself a new subscriber. :)

I agree carp is much more enjoyable fished on light tackle. I use a 7 foot.... 5g -25g ABU spinning rod for most of my freshwater fishing just by habit. Used it one never turned back LOL, anything from 2 - 7 pounds on there is such a fight I cant even explain... I have bigger carp rods, But I use them for mackerel spinning at long distance

小学生の頃に吸い込み釣してて、何も釣れなくて
仕掛けの針に全ミミ（全部ミミズ）して投げたら
５０ｃｍのオレンジ鯉が食いつきました。
ミミズはヘラ以外は大抵は食うので油断出来ませんね。
普通に振り出し式のタモを買えばいいのになぁと思いながら、毎回見させていただいています。

これぐらいの鯉だったら1.5号で全然大丈夫ですよ！
問題なのは、竿に対してラインが太いような気がします。
竿には適合ハリスの号数が指定されてるので、それより高い号数のラインを使うと、鮒のような中型でも竿が折れるときがあるので気をつけた方が良いかもしれないです。
ただこれくらいの鯉を上げれたのは中々テクニシャンだと思います！！凄いです！
