There really isn't any other lyricist who writes poetry that works on so many levels, and can also perform their work so well. That's why JF is my favorite singer/songwriter. His theatrical/literary roots have served him well as a musician.
This is utter perfection, I just thought about how privileged we are to be able to listen to such amazing music and for all that Johnny has done, I know that this man has helped me and I'm sure a lot of others out of dark times. I'm just so so grateful that he's finally creating new music and sharing it with us
If I was to judge, I'd say you are without a doubt one of the most talented songwriters of our generation. Cannot wait for the new album!
Farewell to studying and all other obligations; I have to listen to Johnny Flynn.
I saw him last week and my love and respect for him skyrocketed. I thought he was damn good in recordings, but I didn't know what I was missing till I heard him live.
Love to see how his style is advancing. Probably gonna be one of the best on the new record, can't wait to be proven wrong!!
