I wonder where "Kokopo" got its name from? I'm from Kokopo in Papua New Guinea and we dont call this "Kokopo".
Interesting- the internet says it came from Papua New Guinea? I wonder how it came to be named that?

It’s slow growing still but it’s still alive and happy. I’m hoping for more growth this summer
How do you label yours? I have completely lost track and just ordered a Kokopo
We paint rocks and shells with outdoor paint and clear coat them once a year. I recently started messing around with a metal etching pen I can scratch names in aluminum tags I made from recycled cans.

I bought a few banana varieties from FHN at the same time, and out of those Kandarin and Buddha's Hand varieties are the fastest growing varieties (they are yet to flower though)
Our Kandarin is still small but doing well. We planted ours in filtered shade though. Our praying hands shot up super fast from when we got them planted-but we planted in bright sun. They are such a magnificent variety. Bananas are so delicious! Thanks for watching!
