OH a chicken update. I had seen the last one. They are still young for sure. No combs or wattles yet. They start to lay around six months of age. Your mom will get a nice colored egg basket once they mature. Legbars make blue eggs, Reds, Buffs, and Australorpos make brown. And Silkies make an off white. Mine got crazy for raisins.
Thanks for all the info on the different chickens! Going to have to bring them some raisins for a treat! Never thought of that since dogs can’t eat them I assumed chickens couldn’t either:-)
@@IslandsnHighlands Oh yes, birds are very different from mammals. I have to be careful with my dog Olive when I give the chickens raisins. But she's a knuckle head and eats stuff she shouldn't. I have a video where I'm feeding mealworms and grubs and she joins the chickens and eats them.
