    Cuvet passes both players with the right from the 14 line, impressive

    Felix is a beast. I regret not getting to see him play regularly. Thank you so much for posting.

    I wonder if that’s the excellent Echave that played in Bridgeport, looks like his style. Has to be early 80’s video…

      This is probably 93 or later

      I went to bridgeport and sat in box 18 sat night...up by front 80 to 84...pretty sure echave late fame back court was not as tall as echave in this video. Now last echave was bridgeport I saw was 1983...40 yrs ago..so not 100 percent on echave.

    Why is Tim allowed to be that heavy?..., I wouldn't think that he plays singles matches...if he does I would just keep laying him up with many Cortadas..

      I’ve seen Tim play on several occasions and he certainly could hang most of the time.

      @@stever7157 I seen video of him making a unbelievable forehand pickup,I was stunned, not many players make that catch.....Does Tim play in singles matches?.
      If so is he usually the long shot as far as win odds?....we had a big guy in Bridgeport named Fo,.he played decent to.but singles was his weakness but players didn't lay him up.I think it was a respect kind of thing.they didn't want to make him look bad..there was a player in Milford named Steve,is this him?

      @@spiderreed350 I went to Bridgeport and Milford quite a bit during the years Fo was playing. He would often rise to the occasion in singles, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening for some reason when there were bigger crowds. I saw Tim win a singles game or two at Ft. Pierce and he was a crowd favorite as well. While I find Magic City entertaining, I miss the days of good jai-alai.

      @@stever7157 cool, what I meant when I said if you went to Milford I meant were you the PLAYER NAMED STEVE at Milford, not a casual fan like myself because there was a player named Steve at Milford, a small front court player?.. I was wondering if he was you,LOL...

      @@stever7157 I also remember going to Bridgeport Jai Alia on Martin Luther King day during a matinée and Fo won 4 games,he played lights out..he ran out the 4th game singles from post 2,seven straight points, he'd put the serve nice and deep, the opponent would throw it back to about the mid court,Fo would catch it on the forehand and kept throwing Chulas, point over,lol...any I figured he's hot so I went back for the evening performance and he didn't finish no better than 3rd twice,LOL, that's jai alia for you.over the years I lost way more than I won there because I usually left out low numbers like the 1 and 2 which was foolish.

    Terrible payoffs on the 231...$30 quinella?... Awful..
    Perfecta $86?,terrible
    Trifecta 231,$279,garbage
    Back in the 70's those same numbers would have paid Quin.$60,perf.$125,Tri.$500...that's what killed jai alia, the small pools and payoffs, especially on the house numbers like this one.

      @chop3625 3 роки тому

      1/2/3 Q’s mostly paid between $25-50 tops. Triple definitely would have been higher, much higher.

      In the 70s those were three dollar bets, this was based on two dollar tickets, difference is not as it looks

      Isn't the payoff 2.00 where in Connecticut early 80s was 3.00 triple? That was alot of money to yrif box 3 numbers 18.00. 2023 you can tri box 3 numbers horses for 3.00 to 6.00. Dome tracke 50 cent straight triple.
