i loved watching Growing Pains when i was a kid my favorite character on the show was Mike he was very cool i liked how at first he was a to cool for school kinda guy and later he turned into a loving foster brother he was a better brother to Luke than he was to Ben

Thus, he was written out quickly, and the already dying show tried to go on without him.
