I have the same kayak but with a 4hp gas motor and its the best set up for fishing...and no it doesn't get water inside the kayak

Pelican just sends their high price kayaks in a plastic bag .. I got mine with a broken skeg mount that took 3 weeks to get

Thanks Aliex! If you use a scupper hole plug does it limit the water coming in? I'm wondering if unplugging when you stop will limit intake of water? I use a trolling motor on a 10ft kayak, and it's a real concern of mine now.

Trolling motor don't go too fast so it will limit how much water gets in, but water will splash in and stuff

if you gonna use a gas 2.5hp or eletrnic the pwr, if you gonna use regular trolling motor or bixpy, the catch mode, kinda super simplifing it but lol
