Cheers chap, it was worth the hike to go up high, personally, I had my hopes for a bit of flat grass by a stream just off the trail but it was worth the effort!
I need to give it another try. I was so knackered I made it hard for myself. Very nice and light to carry. Makes a decent shelter. I think I’d quickly fall out with it if I was setting up and trying to cook in the rain in it. I like the lanshan2 for the extra space and second vestibule to be honest
Thanks for the update. Just ordered one from James at Camperlists. Doing the coast to coast walk start of June and thought I would save a bit of weight rather than take my Lanshan 2. I will try and test it first on an overnighter before I do the walk see how I get on with it.
That sky at the start of the video is phenomenal. Well done guys that looked great

Tough on the knees but great views. 29 miles a really nice effort. 💯❤👍
Yes it was! my knees and hips were about done at the station! this lockdown did me no good at all.!
Thank you very much for your kind words A Shropshire Lad. Glad you enjoyed, all the best DR 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ha ha. Touche🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ashropshirelad great video bud, enjoyable part 2 and another mammoth of a hike competed 🤙
It certainly was, my hips ache just watching it. Or is it my ribs🤣🤣
@@ashropshirelad 😂😂😂
Fair play that’s a distance mate. You looked and sounded absolutely knackered!
Cheers Rich, I was, annoying thing was that I chose the route. Need to have a proper word with myself I think.
Great video & beautiful scenery. Good luck with the rest of the trail xx
Thanks so much!, Mid Wales is a beautiful part of our lands, met a few farmers and locals they were so welcoming. good times.
Some stunning views there buddy, the cloud inversion is always impressive, keep up the good work buddy, atb Paul 🙏🏕️🏕️🏕️😁
Cheers chap, it’s nice to do a trail where we’ve no idea what’s round the corner. Sometimes though that is a big hill round the corner 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Again great video matey. What a glorious morning you had. Shame you had to rush back. Looks a great walk too.
ATB Adam 🤜💙🤛
It was indeed but have to admit it’s ruined me. Need to shed some pounds I think
@@ashropshirelad lockdown been a little cack to all of us mate. You did it and that's all tha matters. Nice soak in the bath and a pork pie 👍👍
me I cant be arsed 🤣🤣 great adventure Gordon until the next one atb daz
Cheers Daz, just starting to regain the feeling in my legs again ready for the next slog!!
Some stunning views very lucky.
Thanks for that, It's shaping up to be a good trail but very different from the famous national ones.
@@ashropshirelad The quiet ones are the best, untouched so to speak.
That's a giant walk. Get that pack chest strap slid lower, I thought it was gonna end up choking you lol.
I know mate, when I slid it down it kept popping off. I need to do something with a drill and a zip tie I think👍🏻
Great stuff mate, loved the vid!
Glad you enjoyed chap, Were you the guy we met on Friday doing the Beacons Way???
@@ashropshirelad no not me mate! I was in Shropshire hiking on Thursday & Friday 😁🥳
Very very nice vlog ... Dave and yourself two different styles but really great style my friend.. subscribed ;)
Thanks for the sub!, Dave is a great mate to be in the hills with, a very practical kind of bloke and a great laugh!
Cracking sunrise there Gordon.... you dont need a Drone with views like that.... dem 'Old Drovers' were tough old buggers hiking all that way... 😂
Irony is that I took a drone, complete with four batteries. I was feeling that knackered I couldn't be arsed to get the ting out and set it up!
@@ashropshirelad 😂😂😂😂
Looked fantastic the scenery Gordon and you had great weather for the walk will you be doing anymore of this route? 💪💪👍🏴
That's the plan! We hope to finish the full trail by the end of the year or sooner,
How did you find the Lanshan 1 Pro. How did it perform. I see Dave is lukewarm on his.
