I bought a white Jim Beam ‘78 Corvette for $10 today at an Estate sale. The liquor is still in it. Unbroken seal, but no box. Really cool looking piece.
I was cleaning out my mom's house just yesterday from her passing and I found one of these exact decanters in red exact same thing you're drinking out of any idea what it's worth and thanks for making the video that's awesome both my parents were big Corvette nuts they were in the Corvettes of Southern California club Norm used to races 56 at ocir....
Due to restrictions on the sale of liquor, it is difficult to sell these when full. I have seen the empty decanters sell on EBAY for $40-$120 with condition being the primary factor.
I just got a Beam 100 Months Old Decanter Bottle, Ship Captain and Young Boy 1980 tax seal still intact for $15 cad. I just want to crack it open and drink but should I worry about Lead
Just found a few of these in the basement today, just the video I was looking for!

Nice! Remember there is a possibility that lead wa used in the decanter as it is right on the lead ban year. I drank mine anyway!

Hard to sell them with whisky in them due to liquor laws and shipping restrictions, but empty they are $50-$150
