EPTRI at the Europe Biobank Week 2020

Dr. Bonifazi had a presentation on “Paediatric patients’ involvement fostered by EPTRI, the European Paediatric Research Infrastructure” at the Europe Biobank Week 2020 (17-20 November 2020).
Specifically, his speech introduced the concept of the new research infrastructure, EPTRI, entirely dedicated to enhance paediatric research and foster innovation, which has always considered the young patients’ voice from the very early beginning. He presented also the activities that have been performed in encouraging patient involvement like the survey on oral formulations, a focus group with the 29 project partners to evaluate the expertise of the European institutions in activities of patient and public involvement, a patients’ toolkit on translation research and a roundtable with the YPAGs.
