Can someone freaking explain why in the world Maiden Astraea should be killed, this "Boss" literally looks so innocent, except if all the dead bodies around are her cause
yeah i was wondering the same thing. people kept saying she's a piece of shit. i'm guessing her lore my explain why. she sits in a plagued swamp so that's a red flag lol
Ok So basically she’s an arch-demon in the valley of defilement (which is all things dead) She’s like a half breed and still kept her pure & good kind hearted nature. Aestra was basically healing the aborted babies monsters & wounded knights and trying to do good even tho they would return as a demon & she herself was still a “demon”. She never killed anyone herself but if you noticed those followers that had worshipped her like a god & they would do the dirty work for her & even offer up their souls. The knight dude protecting Aestra had a sister outside and she told the main character to inspect the situation because her brother had gone missing. But he only wanted to make a home out of the valley of defilement, live in peace & support her decision. So the moral of the story i think was basically can you really call them “demons” if they wanted peace & only tried to do good in their own way even tho they knew they were “demons”? Un
@@Adloquiem it had to be done because she was like a catalyst of making demons thinking the intention was good but it was ruining the kingdom, how she was mass producing more problems.
@@Cryyfuu she's not, she just became a demon because she was surrounded by suffering, dissease and death and the residents of the valley donated the souls of intruders for her help with the sick. She used her powers as a demon to lessen their suffering and was originally sent there on a mision from the church, when the fog came in she transformed in an Archdemon. Either way the god of the church and umbasa people is just the Old One itself, its not much of a spoiler its just the talisman of beasts' description. As an archdemon she had to send the Old One a cut of souls aswell.
