Wow. It's hard to believe that Paul Washer was ever anything but a Christian. God saved Paul through grace and it is amazing to hear him tell the story.
We are all born anything other than a Christian. We all must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Do you mean religion or denomination? If you claim no religion and yet say you are a follower of Christ then that contradicts its self. I believe you are talking about the denomination. I agree that the only way to have a relationship with God is through Jesus Christ. Denominations typically form around certain views of the Bible. For example, The Southern Baptist churches are evangelical in doctrine and practice, emphasizing the significance of the individual conversion experience, which is affirmed by the person having complete immersion in water for a believer's baptism; they reject the practice of infant baptism. The Catholics believe that you should and can be baptized when you are an infant.

God bless you brother... I’m going thru a divorce, because for alcohol... two beautiful kids I drank away, I’ve fallen on my face because of my addiction. I dumped all the booze out. Instead of listening to my heart, I spoke from my tung and got a protection order slapped in my face... I miss my baby’s.. we fell away from Christ and let the devil in our home.
I’m praying for you. Always remember there is no sin too big for the blood of Christ to wash off. This is why He went to the cross. May our Lord bless your heart, and your family’s hearts.

Brother, I hope things have gotten better for you. I struggled with alcohol for a few years, but Father used AA as a means for me to face myself and come to a greater place of surrender and healing.

Am I wrong? I left Catholic church because I was told it is all about Idolatry and that Mary should not be prayed to. Through Jesus is the only way to be saved now I claim NO religion I only trust Jesus for my only path to the cross my only way to salvation and it feels right to me.....
The Bible says....There is one God one man the man Christ Jesus who is the mediator between God and man. We pray to Jesus to reach God the father. Mary is the Mother of Jesus she was a very special person,chosen of God to carry the seed of God to birth Jesus. Her role ends there. You must only pray to Jesus the son, to reach the Father.🙏

God is an amazing, loving Father! Look at what He does with our Sin! I have learned Soo much from Brother Washer. God has truly blessed Soo many through Brother Paul! Praise and glory be to God-Almighty the Father, Amen.

I love Paul's ministry, just his voice exudes compassion, care, mercy, tenderness yet boldness against sin. I misunderstood the whole chrsitian meassage after 40 years and only now se the gravity of my horrible sin due to a terrible nervous breakdown whch I can not recover from. I am so heartbroken that I will not see saints like this in heaven.
REPENTof your sin to Jesus and ask for forgiveness . Pray and read the bible. Ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find.Knock and it will be opened.Its not too late for salvation through Jesus.

I’m so thankful for the ministry of this man. He has a real gift for opening the scriptures and giving us glimpses of God.
The part of his story about his father was really moving. Then the scriptures spoke to him, comparing our life on earth as being grass, withering away, and then no more, as if we never existed. The story of his father's funeral, and the people talking about stupid things, instead of being just silent and paying their respects for his father and his family. I can relate to Paul in regards to my father's salvation, but I do believe my father accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord (that's another long story of mine.) Bless

We are rightly unhappy in our separation from God. There is a hunger there that we may not know what it is for. But some find that hunger to be a God shaped hole. We find a completeness and linkage to God. It is easy to try and fill this hole with a great many things but nothing fits in our life like when we find God. We are all a parched and thirsty world seeking the everlasting waters of life. Jesus offers us His bountiful grace to heal our broken natures and wounded hearts.
When I was saved my family and extended family was trying to psychoanalyze me. Well you know he is a trucker alone on the road hour after hour and these things happen. I had to tone down my enthusiasm just to get along with them. I got along with believers well and didn't want to leave them. But I envied them because they had other believers in their family.

Will someone help me.. I dont know if I'm saved and sometime i feel I'm saved.. 6 years ago I was baptized and made a confession of faith.. I've backsliden for years lived in sexual adultery.. Nearly died through alcoholism and crack cocaine.. I belive in God so much and Jeus gave his life for me.. But I have no relationship barely with God.. My heart hurts.. I want christ and christ only.. I wnat him to have my whole life.. All of me and make me a new.. Can someone help me and talk to me? About these things.. How do I truly come to christ?

Brother, we are in battle with our own flesh until we die. Jesus himself was tempted. But remember what Jesus taught: “Repent and believe in the gospel.” We will fail time and time again, what matters is what we do when we fail and how we respond to our failures. Run to Christ! Read His promises He has given us.
Remember what the apostle Paul wrote: “For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.”
Romans 7:18-20
He goes on to write: “Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.”
Romans 7:24-25
Do you see it? The battle against the flesh is ongoing! What are we doing in preparation for the battle? How are we fighting daily in the midst of the battle? Ephesians 6:13 tells us to “take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” Ephesians 6:13
Stand firm, brother! I would encourage you to surround yourself with believers, and people who will encourage Christlike behavior. 1 Corinthians 15:33 tells us “bad company corrupts good morals.”
Remember this Thomas, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for ALL of your sins. Every sin you committed before you believed, and every sin you commit for the rest of your life.
“Cast your burdens Lord and He will sustain you.”

I saw this late, but I hear you. I've been to such dark places too, even as a Christian. However, Christ lived the perfect life as a man on earth, the perfect life I'll never be able to live. He died on the cross and shed His blood for my sins, past, present and future. He was buried and rose again to give me eternal life and His imputed righteousness. If you believe that, then that's all the proof you need to see you're saved. If you believe that, then in that instant you're sealed with the Holy Spirit of God. Temporarily until you mess up again? NO! Until the day of redemption, forever. Calvinists like Paul Washer will back-load works into the Gospel, essentially slapping Christ across the face and saying what He did wasn't good enough, we have to add our works to it to be saved, or to "prove" we're saved. That's not what the Bible teaches. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Whoever believeth on Me, Christ said. For God so loved the world (meaning you and me) that He sent His only begotten Son, so that WHOEVER believeth on Him will not die, but has (present tense) eternal life. Just believe.
It's so simple that most of the people saying they're Christians just don't get it, they can't grasp the simplicity of the Gospel. Jesus is the narrow way and the strait gate, not your works, not baptism, not church attendance, not anything you do. Christ alone. We still do live in this fallen flesh and, just like Paul did, so often do what we actually don't want to do, and don't do what we know we should ("should" not to BE saved but because we are saved, but that "should" is not a "must" for salvation). Salvation is a free gift. It's yours the instant you believe and look to Christ, not at yourself or your works or failures. We all fail every day, that's why we need the Savior, and no sin is greater than the other. You say you want Him to have your whole life and I get what you mean. But the point of it all is that HE gave His life for US, not that we give our lives to Him as though we were some great prize.
Calvinism and Paul Washer's false Gospel will never give you assurance; only the simple Gospel, no frills, will do that, only Christ alone. You truly come to Christ the moment you stop believing in a sinner (yourself) and believe on Christ alone.
Pray you are doing better spiritually than when this was written. Keep seeking the lord, reading your Bible everyday, and begging him for the grace to overcome what you are struggling with. Do whatever is necessary to change. If you have to check into rehab and move across the country to get away from the drugs do it.

Publicly professing Jesus Christ is so powerful and needs taught in church more.
Evan Roberts who was key in Welsh revival of 1904-05. It was founded on these 4 principles, he stated it was revelation from Holy Spirit.
1) Confess all known sin
2) Remove any doubtful behavior
3) Obey the Holy Spirit Promptly
4) Confess Faith in Christ publicly

I praise God for revival preaching like Paul Washer is doing right now. But I'm afraid he might go to the extreme cliff of sinless holiness and perfection. I want to know his redemption stand on King David's and Solomon's lives. They were so faithful in their early days with the Lord but in their later years, they fell into horrible sins though at the end they bounced back to God. Thanks.

Where did "Tryingtobearfruit" comment go to which I responded above? His page is still active....but his comment disappeared. To all who read what I have said above you may disregard. It was directed to Tryingtobearfruit. Whoever he is, one thing is for sure. He is not happy with Paul Washer. He thinks Paul owes him money.
I can relate to being persecuted. I have been spat upon. I have been lied about. I have been beat up . I have turned to child protective services by the school because I didn’t make my son add in the swear words in his book report. I also was turned in to child protective services for child abuse for saying hell is for eternity. I also was turned to child protective services two times because my religion is getting in the way of properly caring for my children and for homeschooling my child through Christian liberty even though it is my right . I get treated as if I need A.R.C services in fact child protective services told me they are concerned I need A.R.C. I said I am too high functioning in society and to smart you people tried twenty times over my kids getting a stomachs virus . over my kids missing school due to strep my religious freedom to the point the family made a joke about A.R.C. Services do you need a cure for anything just call 1800 A.R.C. Services the cure.

Whatever the reason he became an ex, which I assume is the drugs, partying and selfishness, you can be the one to help him find the path to salvation. If you want to go deeper in your faith, study Hebrew roots through teachers such as Bradford Scott. The information is so beautiful.

Jesus said, "Go and sin no more." Paul Washer has publicly contradicted the word of God. He said that it is impossible to stop sinning while in this life.
I think the biggest lie in the Christian churches is the teaching that there is no escape from the flesh nature while in the body.
In truth, The flesh has no power over those who have truly been Born Again. The struggle is when people try to conquer their sin by their own power, because they have not received the Holy Spirit:
Scripture says: Collosians 2:11
"and in Him (Jesus) you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,"
Romans 8:9-11
"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you."
1 John 3
"Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister."
Paul Washer has clearly contradicted the word of God that was given to the Apostle John.
The Apostle Paul was not a sinner which is taught by false teachers. When Paul spoke about his struggles with sin, he was speaking about his past before he received the Holy Spirit, because he also said:
1 Corinthians 15:34 :
"Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame."
Paul also said, "Those who are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8;1-8
When Jesus said, "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." He had not sent the Holy Spirit yet.
Jesus told the Pharisees,
"You will die in your sins."
For anyone who dies in their flesh, they are guaranteed to end up in Hell.
Paul said: “For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:13.
Paul Washer discourages his followers by teaching that it is impossible to stop sinning.
God's grace does not allow us to go on sinning. God's grace changes us. God's grace does not free us to sin. It frees us from sin. Decieved Christians have a false sense of security believing that they can sin until the day they die and still go to heaven, but they don't have faith in the power of the Holy Spirit to free them from sin.
There is no doubt, countless Christians who have embraced false doctrine have ended up in Hell. One reason is their lack of belief, and preachers like Paul Washer tell their followers that true righteousness is basically hopeless.
To deny the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver us from sin so that we can live a righteous life is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
The Apostle paul said, "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord."
Hebrews 12:14
For those who feel more comfortable with the teachings of Paul Washer than you do with God's apostles, you need to examine your hearts.
‘Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not *take* Your Holy Spirit from me.’
Psalms 51:10-11
1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
2 Chronicles 6:36 “If they sin against you - for there is no one who does not sin..
I know this video was 11 years ago but he turned into the person that he preached about to everyone of what God hates. I've seen his past sermons when he was younger and how presented his messages I'd swear he was truly truly genuine and probably was at the time. But now he's has strayed away from true biblical truth and has accepted alot of what the world offers . It's so much more to him than this testimony. The rest is quite the opposite

I saw the entire video, it raises concerns about his person alright but what I'd like to know is the motivation for the video. There is no perfection in any Christian and he attest to that. When we make videos like this attacking individuals without giving the opportunity to respond to the questions, does it serve any purpose for the propergation of the Gospel? Do they do these in in love ?
@@ednaeduful2500 the motivation is probably to not be mislead by any teaching of his or his friends teachings. If we stray away from bible truths then we've strayed from Jesus himself. The guy that has the talk show joking and cursing about smoking weed is preaching Gods word in paul's pulpit is bad news. It's very easy to lead believers astray
