I'm interested in swapping an ls in one of my enclosed engine compartment boats and running efi preferably with O2 sensors but from what I understand just the steam in a thru transom exhaust will burn out an O2 sensor in no time. Anyone figured out a way to do this?
I was going to do the swap but then compared SBC to LS parts decided to keep it original and save some $
Will the stock Bravo Mercruiser rear engine mount work with the LS engine. You said in one video that the coupler would fit
When you say rear motor plate your referring to the rear engine mount correct?
Yeah the rear engine mount / motor plate are the same thing.
Why did you guys go with a carb instead of fuel injection?
We decided to use a carb in this build in order keep the costs down, and make it so we don't have to run an O2 sensor.
@@Powerboat1 Thanks for the reply!
do you have a rear engine plate for an Ls4?
There are currently not any rear plates made to fit the LS4 application.

To help with this issue you can go with a longer riser that dumps the water closer to the exhaust tips.
