We put a shaper on our old runabout and it makes a great wave for foiling. We don't have such great foils as you but it works amazing with our Gravity 1800, and it's quite a nice wave. Started on first and working our way back.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. We found the with the jetski the more ballast at the back the better/bigger the wake got. We used a heavy second person sitting as far back as possible :) Maybe trying some lead weights inside the hull towards the rear could help?
Ok this may sound strange but do you think it’s possible to make a biplane type front wing? It would make more lift and wouldn’t make has much drag has a big wing.
It's not strange at all. We almost sacrificed a fuselage head to pull it off :) The math suggests it will be a big drag increase and a smaller lift increase, but worth exploring nonetheless. Thanks! One exists already. windfoilzone.com/horues-biplane-foil-concept/

Another great video man! I tried wake foiling last year and was hooked instantly. Just a couple weeks ago I received my first foil and it is identical to yours. I did a winters worth of researching and your channel and advice/tips are the best. What you do with your foil is basically the same thing that I’m in to. We have a skinny lake so it’s easy to get out there off the dock to snag a passing wake and we have a ski boat that makes small waves so I thought the 1150 sounded perfect. I was wondering if you have or are thinking of making a video about in water starts. I’ve been practicing dock starts and am getting a lot better but have been having issues figuring out deep water starts behind the boat. Is there actually a way to pull the brakes when foiling? Buddy of mine foiled a massive wave 1st roller behing our wurf boat and banged into the boat. Wakesurfing you step hard on the back foot, this slows you down, but how does it work when foiling?
Unfortunately, no. Shedding speed by gliding is the only way. Another way is to pump perpendicular to the direction you're traveling to slide back to distant wakes. Unfortunately, no easy way to slow down.
