Introducing the BlueROV2 Heavy Configuration!

The BlueROV2 Heavy Configuration and Retrofit Kit adds two thrusters to the BlueROV2, enabling active stability control, six degree-of-freedom maneuverability, and additional payload capacity. The upgrade is easy and can be made to any existing or new BlueROV2.

Hi, I see the main water tight tube is made out of acrylic, would it be more robust to use polycarbonate material since it is stronger? Or was it because that you needed the acrylic rigidity to make your oring sealing arrangement work/ thanks

Hi. What flight modes are you using to manuver it pitch/roll angle? I've tried acro and it seems very difficult to fly it when pitching/rolling at the same time.

Adding a remote metal detector will make it even more usefull...just an idea.

When rolling, does the tether get twisted ?

@Gary - Yes, it will get twisted when you roll or when you just turn the vehicle. We have a "turn counter" in the software that helps you turn it back properly but it doesn't tend to be much of an issue.
