  • Aghla More is a mountain in County Donegal, Ireland with a height of 584 metres. It is the third most southern and fourth highest of the mountain chain, called the 'Seven Sisters' by locals (Muckish, Crocknalaragagh, Aghla Beg, Ardloughnabrackbaddy, Aghla More, Mackoght (also known as 'little Errigal') and Errigal. the Seven Sisters are part of the Derryveagh Mountain range.Aghla Beg is a mountain in County Donegal, Ireland. Of its two summits, one has a height of 564 m, and the other 603 m. It is the third most northern and fifth highest of the mountain chain, called the Seven Sisters

    Another great job, Patrick. I think that all serious hillwalkers very much appreciate the trouble you to go in clearly setting out your route and naming the mountains and the lakes.

    Patrick, that is a monster backdrop provided by Errigal and a monster walk by the look of it :-)

      the biggest problem in this walk was for me cross boggy wet land between Lough Altan and Mount Errigal on my way back i had a plan to climb Errigal at the end of that walk but i`ve lost too much power and a lot of time to cross that boggy wet land and was too late i did not get too much of sun that day to have better visibility but i am happy with this walk and i hope to be back in Donegal on the next weekend ...
