I absolutely love Nickle Azo Gold! Yummy transparency and enhancing first layers.

Tissue paper on geli print: I use clear gesso on the sheets first to strengthen the paper. It does not affect the transparency.

Carnival wet strength tissue paper is great to use on a gel plate or as collage, it's super strong!

Thanks for the tip! I just checked it on Amazon and it’s about 45 bucks for 10 sheets. Very expensive in Canada. Lol.

I've found that I "MUST" allow my creations to marinate for days or weeks before finally saying "It's Done!"

Hi, Michele! Answering your question: my rule is “no rules are allowed”. I absolutely refuse to follow any rule. I don’t criticize anyone who has their rules, it’s an option, but, for me, it makes no sense in having rules when making art. I’m a very disciplined person and I follow all the rules I have to, I even create my own, but my art room is a “rule free” zone and a “plan free” area. As a teacher, you know how much we need to plan and enforce rules, so, when creating, I follow no rule 😉😂 and I plan almost nothing 😂. If it goes wrong, I do it again 😂.
I love the paintings, the colours are very much my style and I look forward to seeing the next step 💙🧡❤️💗💛🖤💚💜♥️

So true about rules! Such a great idea for zero rules in your studio. 😀

Tissue paper: I use DickBlick 12"×18" non-bleeding tissue paper. It works well for my collage.
