Excellent show. Pete has been my musical idol since '73 when I went to my first concert....The Who w/ Lynard Skynyrd. I still recall the smell of shitty marijuana and cigarette smoke. Pete is a friggin musical genius.

OMG, this concert pushed Pete Townshed up into a whole other level. I've always loved Pete & The Who but him playing this gig was the absolute best I've ever heard him play without the band...
I first saw him and his boys during the 1st USA tour, 1966 I think it was, at a baseball stadium. The pitchers mound was right in front of the stage. I think it was quicksilver messager service that opened for them, sorry but that was many many drugs ago. My buddies and I snuck back stage and watced this 4-11 short little Irishman with long red hair to his shoulders, patching back together the amps and drums that they beat the hell out of the previous night in LA. He had teh foulest mouth of anyone I ever heard at teh time. I have surpassed him as of 1988. I stood about 12 feet from teh stage and to Petes left in total amazement. My mind was blown when Pete started smashing his Rickenbacker, and Keith kicked his drums into the audiance. They had placed these 'ropes' on the chrome post like you find at the bank to keep us back from the stage, yea right. I jumped on one rope that was tied to the stack of PA speakers at teh corner of the stage tumbling all 4 stacked speakers into the crowd. Smoke bombs covered the exit of the band but I managed to find a small piece of Petes guitar that had a tiny bit, maybe and inch by half inch of teh red Rickenbacher remaining. I had it untill about the year 1999 and I belive someone took it. I showed it to lots of people, I still cant believe someone took the holy grail from me, I sure as hell didn`t loose it. Whoever it was , will burn in hell for their deed.
so awesome these shows will be avail again on cd next month. genius.

De acuerdo, este tipo es un maldito genio!
I was there!
I would like a director's cut of this concert where every ydyot fan who whoops and hollers is edited out.
What great treat! Major upload. PT in his element there. And back on Broadway! Chapeau.
Great, but is there a setlist anywhere on here?...
Tried but couldn't get tickets
