they're the only one who still make high end phones with a 3.5mm jack and an easily removable simcard slot with a microsd storage, i hope they'll continue making great Xperias in the future

Proud owner of: Xperia SP Xperia Z5 Xperia XZ Premium Xperia 1 IV Out of these phones, only the Z5 got bricked for me. All the others, including the SP, are still operating. I switched from my XZ Premium taht'd been serving me very stalwartly for over 4 years very recently, as I noticed some problems with intermittent charging and whatnot. But other than that, the devices can both be used to do internet stuff to this day. Xperia flagships are amazing bits of engineering. I may not have much of a comparison, but I don't have any complaints either
