This song reminds me of my daddy back in the day. He was one hard working man. May God Bless all you hard working daddy's out there. Another great song!
Bryan is freaking amazing! He sings from the heart ❤️, this is real music 🎶. He's one of the best, this is the best song ever, reminds me so much of my brother Brandon, he works so hard for his babies and his family, he works 15 hours away from home. And he still makes time for his babies, even when he's dog tired, he still finds time to wet a line or take the kids out. Thank you so much, Bryan for this song. Love ya brother. ❤️🙏stay strong 💪 and hang in there, you got this, we all struggle.
Been listening to this on repeat since I found it last night. My dad loved oilfield dad and I know he'd love this song too. Miss him every single day. He passed away on the job, it's been almost 9 months and I still think he's coming home. Keep making great music, it's almost like listening to my dad again.
Im 60. Every day when I open my eyes his picture on my TV is first thing I see. (I sleep in a chair fur to injury) He has been gone 30 years this September 30th. Dad away making a living? Cow Trader/Cattle Order Buyer. Stayed gone so long? He drove up in yard mid-afternoon, my baby sister ran in the house yelling for Mama to come & that there was a stranger in the front yard. True story…she was 4 and the apple of his eye (4boys and a girl) he saw her almost daily but had been months since she had seen him. Broke him down. He figured out a different way to make a living.
Oil field dad here sorry to here what happend just know he's still with you even if you can't see him. Some of the best men iv met have been in the oil field nd i know he'd be the same. Your strong just like him and he's guiding you every step of the way.
Love and Pride. The 2 reasons I make it through the weeks and months I spend away from home in the Oil Field. The love for my family, and the Pride I take in being that Husband to my Wife, the Father to my Children, the Brother to my Co-Workers, and a Man I can be proud of when I see myself in the mirror after a long day. Songs about hard work and sacrifice a fewer and fewer these days. Thanks for song.
I listen to this each time I drive my long commute to work as a railroad engineer. We work long irregular hours with no normalcy. This song gives me the motivation and strength to do what I have to do for my family. Reading the comments reassures me I'm not alone. Peace and love brothers and sisters!
This is about the real men that built this country. Few and far between nowadays. My dad was a truck driver. Most don’t realize the struggle it was back before technology. R.I.P. to my dad and the men who were like him. Salute to the few still left. God bless us all! Great song!
This songs hits home for me . I have been on the road working as a commercial electrician missing my two daughters !! Sleeping in a different hotel every month . I thank the lord every morning I wake up so I can give my girls everything I can . God bless ya brother for this song
This guy summed it up. I drive a semi for 65 hours a week to feed my wife and kids, and everyone tells me that “You make great money, you can afford it… “ Well, the boss man ain’t handing out money for free. I earn every penny I make. Even through the “Pandemic”…
Damn right brother. I'm a agricultural technician. I've worked every day of the "pandemic" and supported my woman and newborn daughter and built a good life for us thru it.
I keep coming back to this song. I miss my brother so much. We live in Virginia, and he works in Iowa just to provide for his wife and family. This song always makes me cry. Here we sat at Thanksgiving with an empty seat. I miss you, Brandon. I can't wait to see you at Christmas. Love you.🖤🖤🖤🖤🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

God Bless all our OTR’s!! There are the ones who get our food to the stores, our lives depend on these “ essential works” that get no extra pay. Thank you OTR drives!
I work 6 days a week, come home to an empty bed, and my daughter 15. Before that it was coming home to a 13 and 16 year old. The older since moved out. My friends, family, say you gotta get a woman, you gotta stop working so much and enjoy life. Their not the ones trying to put food on my table. Trying to pay rent, cable, phones, your child's needs( clothes, school supplies, meds when sick, sneakers and shoes, etc.). Trying to save so my daughter can go to college and make a life where she doesn't have to work her ass off like me. When you have children, it's not about you anymore. Yes, I'm lonely, I'm sad, I miss the love of a woman, but nothings gonna get in the way of me making sure my daughter has all she needs and more.
This is the first song I have heard from you sir, not sure if you have others out or not but judging by this one I think I have found another artist to add to my daily playlist. This is what country music is.
My dad was a truck driver my whole live in I am 54 he is 73 years old now and he took care of his 3 girls and grandkids I thank him for being there for us
Man I don't drive truck or work an oil field but I am a plumbing apprentice. Working 50+ hours a week going to school. This song still resonates. Thankful I get to be home with my family. But I put my all in my career to provide for my family.
