It is now 2021. I have been teaching a Ladies' Bible study on the Beatitudes and each week I have watched your video and have learned so much. This message is timeless and I am thankful to you for all of your study and research as it has helped me in my study and research.
Thank you. Very important to warn the middle schoolers and high schoolers about the lust of the flesh and the peer persecution that results by which by many young people are defiled. The devil is a liar and Pastors need to warn their young ones!
Fabulous lesson and so true. We need to heed the warning and recognize the blessings. Persecution is spreading all over the world, and it is rising in America. We are in a death spiral. The end of all things is nearing, but the whole world will first be in the control of the evil one. God's kingdom will prevail, but we will go through the fire of persecution .
I’m a Christian in California who’s been persecuted in tongue and hated. Persecution is unfortunately in the church too now within some circles and it’s allowed. Slander is a kind of persecution that is real and it’s more than just words, they cast believers out of church circles. People have forgotten the word of God and they love what is evil and hate what is good and i know that as painful as the world is right now it’s temporary and that the pain makes me cling to Christ and so it is well with my soul because Christ is in the persecution with me. Jesus spoke truth when He said mother in laws would be against daughter in laws and there would be so much division. It’s a time of deception and the world is getting so much darker and I just want Christ to come because He’s my HOPE and the only strength I have!!!!
I compromise on the wrong things with people just to not be persecuted and hated by them coz I know I'll be all alone. I'm really afraid. Please pray for me to overcome my fear of being persecuted or hated or insulted for God's sake and for the truth.
Steve I just prayed for you. It sounds like the fear of man is getting in your way of the most important relationship any human being can have. I hope you will prayerfully read your Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to the love of Jesus Christ. I would start with the book of John. If you would read through the gospels, John, Matthew, Mark and Luke and ask the Lord to open your eyes I believe you will be able to see rightly. I have two sons who went through this and now love and follow the Lord. People fail us, if you live long enough everyone will fail and hurt you eventually. Only in the Lord can we put our hope. Praying the Lord will bless you by opening your eyes to this truth.
Someone made a comment about your supposed to forgive people,not their actions,what does that mean? You can't forgive people without forgiveness of actions,that's the whole point
I have been a spirit filled Christian for over thirty years and the persecution you suffer is unrelenting and it gets worse and worse and worse. It is convoluted and comes from many directions. It is a living hell and nothing else.
Ben I am sad to hear you say it is a living hell. I don't see how a Christian could say such a thing. What is a living hell is living in this world without Christ, then we live with no hope or future, only the cheap things we can grasp a hold of in this life which is fleeting and where all things will perish. That is the living hell, eternity without the presence of Christ.
this is why 80% of young people leave church at age 18 and why 75% of people in church are elderly because this is how pastor preach they say a bunch of 10 letter words that only 20% of the church people know they dont want to explain anything in entry level terms or real life living examples of today when because many people out there dont have a 12 grade reading level - i thought the bible forgive people in past for making mistakes - maybe dropping out of school,etc.. but God more interested in people who have doctorates degrees in biblical theology and know hebrew and greek too. remind me of catholics only speak Latin so a few understand and the hell with everyone else they should of went to school and learn latin (well if they will allow you to learn latin). this guy only speaks the bible in fragments just like a parrot who regurgitates statement i would rather just read the bible myself do a research on my own and save my gas money. reminds me of a college professor that only reads the textbook to you id rather keep the tuition and buy the book read myself take the test myself.

I'm in he USA and I experience persecution of the tongue. Western Culture not always kind to Christians anymore.
