    I suggest that it will look more beautiful if you put clear soap all the way to the top to make it usable and to prevent the crystals from breaking

    im working on my very first soap now. i have watched so many videos and yours is my fave! looks like the best Christmas presents. do u use high quality? doing my first, and everything is from hobby lobby (usa) your music choice is great too...especially since i need to watch it over and over 😁😁😁

    • @Mimizworld
      @Mimizworld  8 років тому +5

      Stacy Stroker awww thank you soooo much :D well i don't do a lot of soap diy, so i'm not an expert if those are good quality or not, what i notice is that awer months they starting to sweat (maybe bc of the essential oils) but they are sooo pretty to look at 😍
      side note: after each layer let it cool just a bit, so they create a semi soft layer, than sratch the surface with a toohpick, so after cooling they don't fall apart (i didn't do that 😖)
      have fun 😘

    • @spaceedementia
      @spaceedementia 8 років тому +2

      Mimi'z world thanks so much for the tip! let it cool overnight and I'm about to go cut (facet) the soap!! I'm hoping that my sister will tear of the little crystals and wash so that it won't even last long enough to sweat. 😊😊😊

    I love suggestion #2 the best. It looks like the crystals are coming from a large crystal base. Basically, I think it look more authentic....thank you bunches! I’ve literally written down the entire ingredients already and saved it to my favorite DIY’s. Everyone is getting soap from Christmas...pretty soap. Lol my daughter wears crystals like these in her necklaces and that’s how and why I clicked on your channel. I know she’ll truly love these on Christmas. She’ll use it as decor in her room and not as actual soap. I love it in the cloche because it looks like it real crystals that nobody can afford or touch. Yay! Now I’m a new subscriber to your channel! 🌝

      Thank you for reply. What do you think, will be OK to put on a thin layer of nail polish or epoxy resin to last longer?Another question : It is possible to wear it as a necklace ( one crystal), it is strong enough ?
      Thx again!

    • @Mimizworld
      @Mimizworld  8 років тому

      +John Brad hmmm nailpolish could dry out after a time. maybe the finisher for polymer, it gives a nice shine and last longer. but if you think about to make a necklace, i would suggest polymer :) well i don't work every day with dose things, but i think polymer would be a the best way to go for longevity and resistance :) (sorry english is not my best language)

    • @Mimizworld
      @Mimizworld  8 років тому

      yes, but they only have to dry down until there is a semi thick skin on top of it. That shouldn't take too long (a couple of minutes, depends how hot your soap is) , but all the layers combined, is going to take a lil bit of time :P but totally worth it :D
