Look carefully at the eight at 1:56 seconds. It has a very strange shape to it. I can't figure it out, but the eight has to have a flap or another card attached to it.
i JUST learned this trick, and i think all my friends will like it. i might make a tutorial on it soon...its real easy to learn, just the wording is a bit complicated.
the man who invented the card warp is roy walton. Im a magician and Roy walton supplies me with my cards, gimmicks and also teaches me some tricks :D card warp is one of his best inventions and to be honest he performs it the best
The 8 card is actually 1 1/2 card which is vertically split (you can see the video for the noticeable split in the middle), so total 3 full faces, with one hidden face top half normal 8 and bottom half back pattern. So the trick mostly involves folding / unfolding the hidden 3rd face.
Whenever I read the title I don't read it as "tears" in the sense that he doesn't rip it. I read it as if it's "tears" in the sense that someone cried.
I think the out of place sound effects during the "trick" is what clues people into knowing when its happening. Little more production value could have made it a bit more mysterious!
i think i know how he does this, but im not sure: In the bottom half of the 8 card, there is a loose flap which he can flip from side to side. when he folds it in, he makes sure to flip it over and not show us the face side of the card. When he is nearly done, he unfolds it and, before he turns it face side up, uses the other card as a probe to flip it back over so it looks right when he shows it to us again.
pause it at 1:14, you can see the white design on the vertically bent card. its in the same orientation as the horizontally bent card, though it should be at a 90 degree turn as the other design
I liked the handling up until the end where you did all that awkward sliding and maneuvering. See Bro. John Hamman's gimmicked Homing Card (on "The Lost Works") for a smoother way to turn over the flap card.
The swap out is fairly easy to see if you're looking for it. What's much harder to detect is the swap in. Personally, I think it's at 0:54-0:55. Either way though, great trick! Surely would be much harder to notice in a real setting.
theres 2 1/2 cards being used, notice how his LEFT index finger is always behind the 8, its how he holds the 1/2 card behind the real card w/o U seeing it. Notice when the 8 is pointing AWAY from the camera at the same time he puts the 2 cards togather (at this point, the half a card is covering the bottem half of the 8 of diamonds)... and at the end he keeps moving the cards around (manuvering the Half card in between the 2 whole cards) so when he finally shows the faces, it looks like magic.
HA!!! I saw it. I watched this over about 25 times second by second and I think I got. I'm not going to put his bissness out there but I will say this.... That was extreamly tricky and sneaky to do it the way he did. but right at the end he relax just a bit and you can see it if you know what to look for.
I noticed that when he is creasing the Queen, his left thumb moves up and down the left side of the card, but when he creases the 8, his left thumb never moves, so he is obviously hiding a fold/tear in the card.
Actually, i think there are only two cards, but the 8 actually has a third rip, horizontally across the middle but only have way so that he can fold it over to make it look like the other side. I would have been amazed if he had pulled it all the way through.
the 8 of diamonds is a trick card one of the corners will fold over so the card is half and half if you watch and listen at 1 48 you can see and hear him fold it back with the queen when he slides it under the 8
my guess is that he has a folded card behind the 8 on the left side and keeps it back there and when its folded by the queen and he pushes the 8 down, it reveals the hidden card
Good job - I am baffled. However I do hear things happening that I am not seeing (a card slapping against another when the two visible cards are not moving) so it would probably be better to speak or rely on background noise while performing/recording this trick.
card number 8 is torn in the midle he was spouse to tear the cards at the end but he changed it up, thats why he held on to the 8 card so hard to make sure you couldnt see the line where it was torn
there is no third card, the 8 of diamonds is a trick containing an extra flap with the 8 of diamonds on top and back of card on bottom. he flips it once the 8 of diamonds is first put face down. then after the trick is performed he slides the queen under the eight of diamonds returning the flap to its original position. excellent card trick though!
insane hand skill there. at 1:48 or around that you can see some blue part of the card slip behind his hand or somewhere near the "ring" he has ;D But if that would be live show I would look and only think " what the fuck..."
The point is that there was a cut in the cards to begin with. When he's folding them, it's pretty obvious there's already a cut there. Otherwise there would be wrinkles all over the card.
Perhaps the most fucking relaxing video I've ever seen
This video was my first ever expirience if ASMR
Mine was his This And That trick
It’s been 13 years!!!
Dude I thought I was the only one. When it first happened I was like what was that and Googled it and found out about ASMR in 2009.
This video with the sound of the cards and back ground is very soothing.. Relaxes me
Definitely a magician's card trick, I couldn't care less how it was done. Very well performed.
Trung Nyugen you are so right I almost fell asleep looking at this video
i dont know why but for some reason this video makes me soooooooooo mellow
Look carefully at the eight at 1:56 seconds. It has a very strange shape to it. I can't figure it out, but the eight has to have a flap or another card attached to it.
The ASMR is real.
i JUST learned this trick, and i think all my friends will like it. i might make a tutorial on it soon...its real easy to learn, just the wording is a bit complicated.

The way he holds the card makes me cry !
I used to do card warp all the time. This is a nice twist but actually requires more setup.
I thought I was the only one with ASMR triggering for this video!
once more, an astounding and clever trick.
bravo.
The sound of the cards relaxes me..
that is definitely an interesting way to do the warp!! I used to perform this a different way! I liked it!
I saw the move but bloody hell that was good!
Subscribed mate, keep up the great wwork!
the background sound and the sound of the cards going off of each other is seriously fucking relaxing it's weird
Dude, That was impressive.
Keep all this up mate !
I LOVE the silence in this video.
Jesus Christ. Even if it's not magic, the sleight of hand in itself is effing spectacular.
The 8 card is actually 1 1/2 card which is vertically split (you can see the video for the noticeable split in the middle), so total 3 full faces, with one hidden face top half normal 8 and bottom half back pattern. So the trick mostly involves folding / unfolding the hidden 3rd face.
The background sound is so soothing.
I have never seen this card warp!
Umbelievable.
The sound of card folding is so damn relaxing
Oh man, I think I know how he did it! This guy is seriously good, not even kidding.
ASMR is strong in this one.
that still is a nice version of the card warp - it was very clean!
the cards folded perfectly
that's my absolute favorite thing about this video
He has a very soothing voice LOL.
There's a 'trick' to every card trick. Pre-setup, sleight of hand, etc. I do believe this one has some pre-existing thing, a cut in a card.
Whenever I read the title I don't read it as "tears" in the sense that he doesn't rip it. I read it as if it's "tears" in the sense that someone cried.

mind boggling, good job
THx. for the tip i now understand how the magic is done ^^
That is an amazing trick. Nice job.
There's something funny about the end, when he moves the cards around like that.
Very good - thanks.
Ahhhh blisscoded background.
im not sure how you did it but I was able to keep track of the other card while you were unfolding them
I liked the handling up until the end where you did all that awkward sliding and maneuvering. See Bro. John Hamman's gimmicked Homing Card (on "The Lost Works") for a smoother way to turn over the flap card.
nicely done!kewl twist to that trick...
hey nicepaul man, that was an awesome trick. keep it up.
@RimLur09 actually, if you hadn't noticed it is actually a crease where the card was folded
The swap out is fairly easy to see if you're looking for it. What's much harder to detect is the swap in. Personally, I think it's at 0:54-0:55. Either way though, great trick! Surely would be much harder to notice in a real setting.
You say it's "No-tears," but I cried.
Yup, I saw the switch up at 1:47. lolz, Great trick though I enjoyed the This'n'That trick you did.
Yup, and when he passes the queen under the 8 at the end hes flipping it back
theres 2 1/2 cards being used, notice how his LEFT index finger is always behind the 8, its how he holds the 1/2 card behind the real card w/o U seeing it. double lifting galore! awesome!
nice dude keep up the good work!
thats over 9000!

awesome!!!!
brilliant!
soothing voice
Y did u stop putting videos on youtube?? Your really cool man!!!
the tear shows at the end :D
thats cool man! keep it up :D
I noticed that when he is creasing the Queen, his left thumb moves up and down the left side of the card, but when he creases the 8, his left thumb never moves, so he is obviously hiding a fold/tear in the card.
one of my favorite tricks
cool vid
Incredibly done, sir ^_^
Actually, i think there are only two cards, but the 8 actually has a third rip, horizontally across the middle but only have way so that he can fold it over to make it look like the other side.
I would have been amazed if he had pulled it all the way through.
@ACRO7isawesome In case you didn't notice when he pushes the card through on the other side it comes out blue instead of showing the eight
That was amazing
type in pick my card, cool magic trick and really easy to do
the 8 of diamonds is a trick card one of the corners will fold over so the card is half and half if you watch and listen at 1 48 you can see and hear him fold it back with the queen when he slides it under the 8
Trying to figure this out seriously hurt my brain, but I think I got it now. Not going to spoil anything though. :)
That! - I can't explain
dude that is crazy!
Very Nice!
my guess is that he has a folded card behind the 8 on the left side and keeps it back there and when its folded by the queen and he pushes the 8 down, it reveals the hidden card
Woah, that's cool. o.o
the reason ppl hate him is because he is so much better then the "haters" in card tricks ^^ i think he is good
he has a tiny fold in the middle that allows the back to show, too
There is a small cut in the vertical card. That make the bottom fold backwards. Ill post an instruction vid soon.
Good job - I am baffled. However I do hear things happening that I am not seeing (a card slapping against another when the two visible cards are not moving) so it would probably be better to speak or rely on background noise while performing/recording this trick.
nice gaff card. =] Looks funny how at the end he slides the two cards together and the other card jerks
the cards never changed at the end dude
card number 8 is torn in the midle he was spouse to tear the cards at the end but he changed it up, thats why he held on to the 8 card so hard to make sure you couldnt see the line where it was torn
on the queen card you just temporarly stuck a small piece of card so that when you put the eight in it would push the other card down
omg! dude your awesome.
Very nice...
there is no third card, the 8 of diamonds is a trick containing an extra flap with the 8 of diamonds on top and back of card on bottom. he flips it once the 8 of diamonds is first put face down. then after the trick is performed he slides the queen under the eight of diamonds returning the flap to its original position. excellent card trick though!
ahahhahaha i saw it with the first view doing it so slowly it was quite obvious. your speed is good;))
Great!
Doh! I read it as 'tears' as in crying!! How confused I was.
insane hand skill there.
at 1:48 or around that you can see some blue part of the card slip behind his hand or somewhere near the "ring" he has ;D
But if that would be live show I would look and only think " what the fuck..."
yeah, he seems to be holding them like he's trying to hide whats between them
The point is that there was a cut in the cards to begin with. When he's folding them, it's pretty obvious there's already a cut there. Otherwise there would be wrinkles all over the card.
Nice!
awsome trick by the way....you killed the old card warp lol
apparently the queeen is double carded
-Uh, no.
-You obviously just did.
-Prove it.
-Wheres the evidence?
-Again, wheres the evidence?
-What does that have to do with anything?
really cool trick , tnx for posting .
Very nice. Let’s see Paul Allen’s card
dude u know how to do that just by watching this thxs
