  • In this video I will show you how to render dynamic point clouds in the Unreal Engine 4.25 with Niagara and C++. For once, not the best video editing and sound, but after all, it's all about the content.

    This was immensely helpful. Epic's own LiDAR Point Cloud plugin isn't fast enough to accomplish what I want, but this technique is fantastic.

    Thanks a lot for this. Super useful. I think if you enable persistent id's in the emitter properties you can use "(PARTICLES) ID" instead of creating a point id yourself.

      That is absolutely right, thank you! Got the information that the particle ID cannot be used in GPU mode, but that seems to be obviously wrong after I just tested it.
