- This is easily one of the best mallard hunts of my life. Watching the birds decoy was so cool. This ice hole hunt is one to remember.

Thanks for the great video!! People ask me what it is about the duck hunting that I enjoy so much. I tell them, for me, each hunt is special in its own right. Some days it’s the sunrise. Sometimes, just sitting out in the quiet is great. But, getting to sit back with your finger off the trigger and witness the thundering of wings landing in your spread is definitely an experience that keeps us coming back.

Wow, Aden (Golden). Golden everything!!!! Golden spot, decoying, appreciation of the hunt and God’s creation. U did everything right including your shot selection. Holding back on all those decoying ducks which is even more conservative than me. It made the experience perfect. It was tempting to shoot a 5 minute limit, but that would have ruined the experience. I give u a 10 for that hunt in every way. Even your remorse for loosing the pintail. U showed respect for the prey. Your closing was wonderful. Atta boy!!!

Ive had the pleasure of being on a hunt just like this one in California, except my ducks in the morning were teal and widgeon. No exaggeration, there had to be 3,000 teal landing and 100 widgeon, wave after wave for 15 minutes. I to thanked God that he had blessed me with that. My first shot gave me 3 green wing teal, my second shot gave me two more teal and a drake widgeon, I finished my limit with a cinnamon teal. Best hunt of my life, my only wish would be I could have filmed it as you did yours. Praise God and keep up the good work

Out of all of the things I’ve done for a duck, I’ve never had this type of experience. I catch myself myself getting jealous and frustrated. At the end of the day, you’re an extremely blessed man to even have the opportunity. This is coming from a duck hunter who’s learned everything about duck hunting by trial and error. Believe me when I say I’ve been through it. Don’t take opportunities like this for granted. Days like this, might as well lay your gun down and enjoy the show.

What an amazing hunt. I have never seen that many ducks before. Love that you were able to enjoy God's creation and be reflective while you were out there. Of course you wanted your limit, but it wasn't all consuming.
