ENTRY TABLE w/ embedded Hydraulic Tiles

In this video I'll show how I made an Entry Table with steel base and Chestnut top from a log I milled 18 months ago in which I embedded 3 antique hydraulic tiles. This table is a present for my parents.

Sempre he volgut fer una taula o una bandeja amb la part de dalt amb rajoles però no sabia com rematar els cantos, volia provar-ho amb borada però imaginava que no quedaria bé. Ho provaré amb la silicona però alguna de color semblant a la fusta potser.

La borada quedaria esquerdada ràpidament amb el moviment de la fusta. Inserint un element inflexible (i fràgil) com una rajola necessites d'un petit perímetre amb algun producte flexible que absorbeixi els moviments de la fusta amb els canvis de humitat i temperatura. Les teves millors opcions són silicona o poliuretà. Em decanto més pel segon perquè té millors prestacions. Salut!

No digo lo contrario pero sinceramente el live edge (asi como epoxy resin, etc) esta demasiado visto hoy dia. A parte las medidas que me pidieron para la mesa no coincidian con ningun tablon que tenia secando en el taller. Un saludo!
