I wish you would've mentionned every subsequent covid infection increases your risk of developing long covid, and the infection doesn't need to be severe for one to develop it. Also in the majority of cases, people with long covid fit the diagnostic criteria for ME/CFS. We've known about ME/CFS (which is developed after a viral infection in like 80% of cases) for decades. And there's some research and knowledge there (it's been psychiatrized and dismissed a lot because it affects women more commonly than men but still..) that could help people dealing with long covid but it's not happening (the link being made) enough and it's very frustrating to watch this happen as somebody who had ME/CFS for a while and worsened since getting covid on top. I'd like to shake the medical community and researchers and politicians at large so they get their act together and do something before a significant portion of the population is disabled. Anyway. Thanks for addressing this 🙏
