Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! Which small travel trailer with TWIN beds did you like best? Please say hello by leaving a comment below! Also, please feel free to ask any questions or just tell us about yourselves. We want to get to know you and share our RV experiences.
Gulf Stream. High ceilings (YEA!) Short beds (UGH!)? Galley fix: 1 deep bowl, 2 burner stove, counter extension would be a big help for the whole unit.
In our fifth wheel, we ripped out the ‘walk around’ queen and built in two twins with center aisle. It is WONDERFUL. Hubby got an extra firm mattress for his side, which I would have hated. The center aisle makes everything easier. Glad to see more manufacturers going this direction.
I have always preferred twin beds so both can get in and out of bed without bothering the other person. Also, able to take a friend if your better half can’t go. Like the Gulf Stream, but the Winnebago blew my mind with all the storage! Thanks for sharing these!
Thank you for sharing these unique trailers. Twin bed options are so popular and have been missing in travel trailers imo. As always, great topic video and excellent professional filming, editing and narrating!
The kitchen in The Gulfstream is it immediate deal-breaker a non-starter if you will. The Gulfstream should only have a two burner cooktop and it should be closer to the fridge in a straight line front to back weather splash guard for the back and side. The sink should only be a single Bowl but the deeper that would solve your problem you literally would have to wash dishes immediately dry them because you would have no place to store clean dishes while you work
Love your reviews. This is the 2nd video seeing the Winnebago. I like it the most. Airstream seems cramped overall. Thanks for your reviews, MUCH better than others I've seen.
Love the versatility of twin beds. Thanks for sharing. Winnebago is definitely my choice although it's a bit heavy for my Tacoma. Sending you both much love.
Great video! Twin bed option is rare in new campers so glad to see these models available. Wish I'd seen the Gulf Stream before I bought my [other brand] last year!
Hello Mike and Susan. The Winnebago has amazing storage! I love the space to. I agree about the table, free standing is much nicer. The Airstream is gorgeous also. Great reviews, thank you.
I have to mention my first R.V. was a Fleetwood Prowler. It was gorgeous. It copied the old Airstream layout. Twin beds in the center, rear bath with full tub, front living room with full size sofa bed. I had the dealer remove the dinette. It was a beautifully finished trailer. All quality cabinets, fixtures and flooring. Tons of storage. I wish I could find another like it. The Winnie was close.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: around 4:15 you mention the stove top cover... Do NOT under ANY circumstances regard it as part of your counter surface. It is ONLY a cosmetic thing, nothing structural. IF you put a chopping board on it , and try to chop any food, you WILL break that glass. In such a camper, my mother used the table for food prep - or a pop up table we'd brought. If you ARE going to use the stove top area for food prep, put the chopping board on the saucepan grid AFTER lifting up the hob cover. The above is a standard advisory for ALL such (as you guys call them) stove top covers. Cosmetic only. Not to be leaned on - and always lift that lid when using the burners!
The first one just didn't have the storage and the kitchen was a joke. I have to say my heart belongs to Airstreams but can't afford any rv right now but love to watch the videos.
That's awesome. Our motorhome was a holdover too and we saved a lot of money because of that! Thanks for watching our tour video and commenting Adam. Safe travels!
Thanks for another great review. We're thinking about going from our Class C to a small trailer with twin beds, or maybe a murphy bed so this was a very helpful review. I do find it hilarious when you do your elbow test on the commode. It always makes me laugh wondering what the heck you are doing flailing your arms around while sitting on the pot. Ha Ha, too funny!
I like the Airstream the most however at just north of $100K,, that puts it out of reach financially for us. The Winnebago is nice but it too is cost prohibitive for our budget which leaves us with the first one, the Gulfstream. I would be very happy having that camper to call our own. Great video / tutorial as usual Mike & Susan!!!!!😃👍
So glad you liked these models. Don't forget these are MSRP. We believe prices are dropping and dealerships are willing to negotiate. Check out RV shows as well as previously owned. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Looks like you two are having a good time following the sun. When I watch your videos, I'm always thinking if you could take a bit of this one, and a piece of that one... I guess it's just a matter of finding the right balance for each person. Take care, be well
We are having a blast, thank you and thank you for the kind words! You are right about finding the perfect balance. No RV can be 100% perfect but finding what fits your needs best is important.
Winnebago Minnie for the win! I agree 💯 it’s gives off high-end residential vibes. I like the twin bed set up that can convert to one larger bed. The advantage is, when the other partner has annoyed you to bits, you can separate and go to two beds and when you’re friends again you can go back to one bed. 😂 I will say the twin beds give that area of floor space which makes it easier to get in and out of the bed. 🛏️ The shower area this round were super roomy! The airstream was tight and roomy all at the same time. I think that’s a model I would want to tour in person to formulate my final thoughts. I think it offers a great deal of storage for the size
LOL! Love the comment about "when the other partner has annoyed you to bits, you can separate and go to two beds and when you’re friends again you can go back to one bed" Hilarious! As always - thanks for watching and for your great comments! Mike and Susan
I have double bunks in the rear of my TT, the lower of which folds for extra storage with access via a rear door. I'm going to pull the hinge pin in the lower bunk; making it a single bed and cut the upper bunk for added overhead storage. The rest of my TT is perfect including my full-queen Murphy bed!
That sounds like a great idea! Bunks can definitely be modified for different living and storage space. Thanks for sharing that! And thank you for watching our RV tour and commenting!
Just an observation…. Why do rv manufacturers put the bathroom on the far side of the kitchen, living/dining areas…. To me it’d make more sense to put either a split bathroom or a walkthrough bathroom next to the owners bedroom….. Maybe you can make a video showing rvs with that floor plan….
The more I think about it the twin or bunk bed layout makes sense for a single person. Why waste that space that could be used for storage? My current rig I actually use the sofa for a bed and turned the bedroom into a sitting room to enjoy while I'm awake. You don't need all that much space to be unconscious in.
What is the towing capacity of your SUV? We always say you should never tow more than 80% of your vehicles capacity...just to be safe. The Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB has a GVWR of just under 4,000lbs. This is one that comes to mind. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Winnie knocked it out of the park. Twin beds and NO dinette!! I wish I could afford it. I would buy it tomorrow. I have a question; I've never owned a R.V. with a slide out. What is the back up in the event of a failure? Can it be retracted manually?
That's a tiny fridge for a $110K Airstream trailer. You always politely leave the entry door to the RV open while you film, do people often just walk in or do you put a sign up that you're filming inside or something?
We try to either arrive super early or stay super late when we attend RV shows. We do get quite a few interruptions and have to restart! 😂 But we try to be courteous to show attendees.
I'm not familiar with slides. There has to be a weight max for people sitting in that area, right? I have tried googling without success. I like the Minnie the most but not sure about slide.
That is a great question...that has just inspired Mike to write a blog article about! Unfortunately we do not have the answer at the moment but will soon! 😉Thanks for watching and commenting.
The Winnebago Minnie 2327TB is a great floor plan! Love the spacious bathroom. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Oh and another notes RV companies stop putting cheap LED light strips where they are just not needed save that money put it towards something else please
If you think 2 different color cabinets look good...gezzzz....for almost 60000 should look better.....1st trailer empressed me for 40000....but no TV...they mark up big for tvs
Absolutely zero counter space. The Winnebago? Zero counter space. Sure, lots of space for the entertainment centre, but zero space for cooking. Who the heck designs these RVs? Thanks goodness at least the Airstream has a bit of counter space.
Fair enough. Winnebago is no different than the rest of the manufacturers. Gotta keep the profits going higher each year which boils down to raise the prices, build them cheaper or both! Thanks for watching and for your comment! Mike

I like the hint you gave for the hide a drawer when the kitchen lacks a utensil drawer. Keep up your informative and entertaining videos!
Thank you so much for the kind words! We appreciate your support!

All great points Scott. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The 2nd one was my favorite 🥰 roomy and pretty!
Definitely ticks off all the boxes! Thanks for watching and commenting.
The industry definitely needs to bring more twin bed options to market. Many floor plans can work as is, just change the cabinets.
That is very true! It would be pretty easy to make the modifications.
Thanks for watching!
Mike
Like the twin bed option and number two is the best of the three! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching and commenting.
I love the twin beds
It definitely has it's advantages! 😂 Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!

Good choice! Thanks for your support! ❤

So glad you liked the video. We are definitely looking for more twin beds at our next RV show. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hello Mike and Susan. The Winnebago has amazing storage! I love the space to. I agree about the table, free standing is much nicer. The Airstream is gorgeous also. Great reviews, thank you.
So glad you liked it! Thank you for your continued support! ❤
No go Airstream! For shorties only. (Who can shower in that mini space?). Wash 1 hand at a time in the bowl? Pretty pretty but YUK the money.
I have to mention my first R.V. was a Fleetwood Prowler. It was gorgeous. It copied the old Airstream layout. Sounds like it was an awesome RV! I have my work cut out for me to help you find it! LOL Thanks for watching and commenting.
Excellent presentation as ALWAYS YOU TWO...
STEADY ON!!!
Thank you so much for your continued support! Glad you liked the tours!

Get a TV trey and don't worry about table inside, but yes pop up table can be used outdoors.
We completely agree! Thanks for watching and commenting Janice!
I like the Winnebago Minnie, but I think I would choose the sofa and sofa table option.
That's a great choice! I think I'd like that too! Thanks for watching and commenting.
The first one just didn't have the storage and the kitchen was a joke. I have to say my heart belongs to Airstreams but can't afford any rv right now but love to watch the videos.
Hopefully prices will lower soon, but don't rule out buying used. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Just bought a new sonic 2022 holdover. Hitching and sway package, title and reg, wiring 7way on my truck and brake controller. 29,5 out the door
That's awesome. Our motorhome was a holdover too and we saved a lot of money because of that! Thanks for watching our tour video and commenting Adam. Safe travels!

Why do you need three burners stove in a camper? I rarely use three burners at the same time even when at home.
We rarely use 3 also. Two is enough, then extra counter space. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like the Airstream the most however at just north of $100K,, that puts it out of reach financially for us. @@RVBlogger It was the first thought that came to mind. 😁
@@MadeUpLikeADoll Very clever!
The prices have shot up by 15-25% in the last two years.
Yes they have, but I do believe they will start to lower soon. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I bought my first 20' trailer and now I want a 5th wheel! You're a monster!
😂 I feel your pain. We started with a 2008 24' Class C...then bought a 2022 39' Class A!😜 Thanks for watching and commenting.
The Airstream is the prettiest😍 but I think I like the Gulfstream.
Glad you liked them! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hooray for twin beds! Too bad they're all too heavy for my truck. LOL
Rats! We are going to continue to look for more! Thanks for watching and commenting.

We use TV trays with our recliners
Haha! We do too! It's just so convenient and its easy for us to watch TV ( or RVBlogger videos on UA-cam - lol) while having a meal.
Awesome!
So glad you liked them! Thanks for watching and commenting.
#3 looks the nice....too tight....and 120000....that's crazy..maybe 80000 before taxes...very nice presentation for all 3. I love your content
Thank you for the kind words!! Airstream prices are always a bit higher. Thanks for watching and commenting.

😂 Great point! Great way to be flexible with your RV space! Thanks for watching and commenting.
what about RV with twin murphy beds, no slide out?
I feel pretty confident in saying that does not exist...yet! Thanks for watching and commenting!
If money is no object the Oliver Legacy Elite II is really nice.
Is there a smaller trailer with twin beds?? One I could pull with a suv.

Most RVs have a manually setup in the event of failure, but that is definitely a question to ask the dealer or manufacturer.
Great vid M&S.
Thanks Tuvia! ❤

Thank you so much! ❤️ And thank you for watching our RV tour and commenting!
Should spend more time on the slide out,I had one that was a portal for mosquitoes, mice and heavy rain.Never would I buy an rv with a slide out!
Wow! That's disappointing. It must not have been sealed properly. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you
You are very welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting.
You missed an AWSOME camper. The inTech Terra Oasis Rover. You can get with Twin Beds and is half the price of an Air Stream!!
inTech Terra Oasis is a great camper. We toured one in this video ua-cam.com/video/nT0otDjbvjw/v-deo.html Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like it !
So glad you liked it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Well, the first two tried...sorta.
😁 then there's Airstream. They miss very often.
Did you not like any? Thanks for watching and commenting.
Sorry. Meant to say Airstream doesn't miss often. I really liked it.@@RVBlogger
I call them Leave it to beaver beds
Or I Love Lucy! 😄
😂 I remember that well!
yes that too!😂
I want a Sleep Number Twin bed. The Sleep Number Bed Company needs to enter the RV bed market
Not a bad idea! There are a variety of manufacturer with RV mattress but not sure about Sleep Number. Thanks for the suggestion!

no dryer washer hookup .no year long camping .
You won't find washer/dryer prep in a travel trailer this small. Thanks for watching and commenting.
👍

Cabinets look cheap. Just saying for a winnebago. Not big on the 2 tone.
Fair enough. Winnebago is no different than the rest of the manufacturers. Gotta keep the profits going higher each year which boils down to raise the prices, build them cheaper or both!

My advice throw away the super cheap foam mats for real mattresses don't be a Cheap skate & DIY upgrade your mattress
Some RVs have stepped up their mattress game over the years, but I agree a comfortable mattress is important. Thanks for watching and commenting.
