Beautiful tank! A lot of flow, a lot of light, established rock, good bacteria population, Kalk, CaRx, nice fish load...I expect great things with this tank.
Thanks! I've been growing that out in my other tank for a while now. Also appreciate the reminder. I've been slacking on UA-cam. Post most of my stuff on IG.
Oh my God tank looks excellent keep up the good work I always look up to you I love the lights the rock escape looks excellent as well everything just looks perfect you are doing amazing job 👍🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏾
The tank looks amazing Phil. You’ve Accomplished a lot during the short time the tank has been running. Your fish selection looks great and I’m sure the anthias will add some good coloration to the tank. The rock scape flows very well and there’s tons of room for corals. 😁Keep up the good work.
Hi Phil, just found your channel and subscribed. Really enjoying your videos. Will you be uploading any video of the actual set-up of the new tank? I'd love to see the way you plan where to place corals on the rocks and how you attach them etc. I'm relatively new to the hobby and still learning the basics. I often struggle with attachment and them staying in place etc. Especially when the bloody crabs seem to delight in knocking things off as as soon as you turn your back!? Thanks Phil!
Thanks Danny! Really appreciate it. I'm not sure what videos I'll put out. My main focus is Instagram. @CC_Reefkpr If you give me a follow on IG, I'm happy to answer questions through DM. Message me and gladly explain my methods of keeping things in place and coral layout and any other questions you may have. Welcome to the hobby and thanks for the support.
Absolutely amazing. Great job on this reef tank! I am a little jealous of your coralline in the tank already. I still haven’t seen any on my rock or equipment, just the snail shells. I wonder if it all boils down to curing the rock, which I didn’t do for my CADE and I have been going through all of the uglies and battling it all in the tank.
Luv the tank amazing you’ve got it that far in such a short time just shows you know what your doing quick question are qt’ing the fish prior to adding them?
The entire setup was purchased from my friend who set it up and suddenly had to move out of state for work. They are currently hard to find in the US. Last month a few online vendors had them in stock but they went pretty fast.
Thanks, The builder is AGE Aquariums. 3/4 low iron glass. Stainless steel frame with eurobrace, PVC bottom, Armored silicone seams and modular marine overflow. Stand is steel powder coated, fabricated by a local steel shop.
Is the Ink Bird working ok? I keep hearing people say they throw some weird error messages. I was gonna get one, but now not sure what to get? Thoughts?
@@Reefkpr1 Sweet. I’ll take your word on that a pull the trigger on one. Is the Wi-Fi better or which one should I get? 🤷🏼♂️ Do you set the temp on the Ink birds 1-2 degrees lower than the temp on the heater’s?
@@Reefahholic I like the Inkbird ITC-306A WiFi Temperature Controller a little better. You can run 2 heaters. I set my inkbird to temp I want and the heaters a little higher. I'm also connected to the controller is case it all fails then Controller will shut it off. So basically 3 failsafes.
Keeping Saltwater tank is reserved for a smart person only. Looking at your setup, it is really complicated... Bravo!

Thank you! This is the first tank I've setup with curing the rock for as long as I did. So far, it's been the easiest tank to get going so fast.
@@Reefkpr1 Sounds like the winning ticket!

Luv the tank amazing you’ve got it that far in such a short time just shows you know what your doing quick question are qt’ing the fish prior to adding them?
Thanks! Yes I'm QT'n all fish. I did buy a few already pre quarantined but anything that hasn't been QT'd is going in a QT tank for at least 6 weeks.
Awesome tank Phil. Just wondering where you ordered your quarantined fish from?
Thank you! The last batch was ordered from Dr. Reefs Quarantined fish.
Awesome work, what intensity ramping/ colour profile do you use? I also use these lights and they are great.
Thank you! Shot the pics over on R2R.
May I ask, what do you consider sweet spot for your reef regarding Ca,Dkh?
were do you buy the lights

Sweet! Is the 525xl still running?
Thanks Fletcher. Yes it's still running. I've considered taking it down or restarting due to the AEFW. Still looks good, just tired of fighting them.
Is the Ink Bird working ok? I keep hearing people say they throw some weird error messages. I was gonna get one, but now not sure what to get? Thoughts?
I have 2 inkbirds. The wifi and regular version and I've had zero problems with them. My oldest one is approx 3 years old. Been a solid unit.
