being honest mate... most of the british rap scene is a squabble to be the best lyricist. we dominate in bars vs america, simply for the fact of how down-hill american rap has gone. there's nothing to it anymore besides hibbidy jibbidy syrup sippin pill poppin sex addicts. you listen to the majority of UK artists and theres stories being told, punchlines going over peoples heads, flows coming at you left right and centre. americans just copy + paste the same mumble flow over n over n over, just with new slurred words, besides a few of course, but they tend to be the old school rappers who are keeping it alive and putting the new lyricists on like EZ mil, eminem, tech n9ne, token, and some others. but it's funny, cause you can look at those names i've just mentioned, and they don't get pushed the same way the likes of migos, future, lil this n lil that, they are literally FIGHTING to be heard because the mainstream doesn't want to promote music that you have to use your mind to understand. it's also why america doesn't put the UK on... because we actually have bars and meaning to our songs. ghetts nines potter paper dave kano akala cee major 7 great creators off the bat without thinking.
