I've lived in several places in California and have had fruit trees die from gophers and corn and other plants killed by gophers. Just saw the movie tonight. Amazing how a box with a hole placed in a high place attracted barn owls. You can't just go to the pet store and get an owl. Really amazing how the farm got all those owls to kill the gophers.

I'm interested in this subject but had to bail out as soon as I heard the recommendation to eat less meat. I'm so sick of the demonization of meat when it is the most nutritious source of food and considering how grazing ruminants play a vital role in the carbon cycle and restoration of our depleted soil.

We get where you're coming from. And we agree with you 110%! We wouldn't make the recommendation to eat less meat, ourselves. However, he was talking about eating less CAFO meat, which we certainly agree with.

@@WiseTraditions I love what he's doing to promote proper soil techniques. I gave it a listen. He was quite clear " I think we eat too much meat".

yes it is good to eat meat the reason to eat less meat is because it takes a longer time to digest you just need to find the right balance for your body

Meat is not the most nutritious food, does not matter if you eat a lot, little or don’t eat meat at all.
