We’re back on the BNSF after exploring some other places in the Chicagoland area. We returned to Brookfield, Illinois in hopes of catching BNSF Local 457 with the addition both Amtrak Southwest Chief trains as well as California Zephyr 6. While BNSF Local 457 didn’t go as planned by lunch time, Metra trains were quite busy for most of the morning. By lunch time, that’s when we caught our first freight train of the day. By then, the freight train action continued on into the afternoon just as we were packing things up. Overall, it was a solid day along the rails and we were even more happy about trying other spots near Brookfield to film trains at. Coming up next is a return trip back to the Canadian Pacific in Lake Forest, Illinois. Enjoy the video from Brookfield on the BNSF!

You and the rest of the crew had a lot of action at Brookfield, Illinois on 15 April 2021, Andrew. I think this is the most individual trains that I have seen on any of your videos that I have been watching since I first found your channel a year and a half ago.
