Welcome to Chapter 3 of our journey with the Himalayan Shepherds! 🌄
On the third day, we fully immersed ourselves in the life of shepherds, experiencing the simple yet challenging life of these resilient mountain dwellers. We began our day in Bhainsiya Bugyal and, with the guidance of a local shepherd, took the flock of sheep and goats up to Bhainsiya Top, just 1-2 kilometers from our stay point.
The day was filled with peace and tranquility as we embraced the slow pace of shepherd life. Without any specific goals or rush, we lived as the shepherds do-taking in the stunning landscapes, learning valuable lessons about resilience, and enjoying the peaceful solitude of the high-altitude meadows. 🐑⛰️
By evening, we returned to Bhainsiya Bugyal, bringing back all the sheep and goats, and decided to spend another night under the starry Himalayan sky. It was a day of deep connection with nature and a reminder of the beauty of a life lived in harmony with the land.
