    These interviews always seem to be hit pieces and I'm glad to see him push back against the interviewer. I'm sure everyone would agree Iraq is a messed up place but progress is being made and things take time. None of these issues will be fixed over night!

      Iraq is the second richest country in oil after Saudi and now is one of the poorest country in the world, because the wealth is divided by few, ruled by sick ayatollah Sistani.
      Iraq was much better under Saddam Hussein

      Iraq is corrupted country it has nothing to do with Shia islams or Iran.. The SUnni, shia, Kurdish politics are all criminals corrupted.. The shias does live in poverty.. What about the Sunni kurds? They have lowest poverty in Iraq and they are not even shia muslims..

      Kurdish has less budget but less curroption.
      Baghdad and south of Iraq run by Shia selected by Sistani to rule, to keep the control of oil.

    Abadi is the best leader we've had in many, many decades. He is actually trying to pursue positive change. As an Iraqi I take offense to the tone of the interviewer. He was simply impolite to Abadi.

    stupid style of questioning him. He's offensive to the PM, and no less, knows damned well that every charge made of him in this moment are likely presently true of UK now, but ALL are factual if we look across a 35 year period. And looking at a country in civil warfare with an armed insurrection that occupies cities is tough.
    The underlying problem is that of having a sunni and kurdish representatives in parliament who's also a spokesman who explains the proportional representation they receive decisions. They need to feel like they're 2nd class citizens, one sectarian militant away from being hunted like scourge, relegated to the dustbin of relevance, or are otherwise denied a voice.
    I think it would be better to have religious MPs but a secular (secretly, atheist) MP.
    Their legal system (as I understand) is heavily dependent on eye-witness statements... as opposed to physical and forensic evidence. Here too, a westernized system would be preferable to hadiths or eye witness.
    Checkpoints are good, and should stay in place, as well as remain in place and used at random times. It would make a drastic change in the confidence of the people yet the ability to impose security if credible threats or intel came in.

    Obviously, the prime minister Abadi is part of the atrocity against the Sunni cities. He insists that the 50 Shi'a militias such as Asa'ib al-Haqq, Hizbullah, Badr and Kata’b al-Abbas considers them volunteers and their act of war crimes and ‘ethnic cleansing’ merely mistakes, yet he still happy to consider them heroes to cause more bloodshed. His Marja Ayatullah Sistani spoke man abdul Mahdi al-Karbala’I gave one of their militia fighter a medal. Abadi is still meet with Nuri al-Maliki on regular bases after robbing 500 billion dollars, leaving Iraq in poverty.
    Everyone in Iraq knows that the government is a joke and the election was rigged, since 2003 the same faces are ruling Iraq. The public started to believe that west behind all this, the purpose of invading Iraq is a punishment against the Iraqis for being with Saddam Hussein.

      Those militants does not belongs to Iraqi army. They are Iranian backed army. I dont support them but I allow them fight against Isis in specific areas...

  • @gilgameshomar
    @gilgameshomar 8 років тому

    this tv channel is misled ...there is no militia > those people are Iraqi civilians doctors engineers who were volunteered to defend their country under a name people mobilization forces... part of Iraqi security forces... they shouldn't be called in sectarian way as shia militia(who do so follow Saudi arabia propagana)... why people blame People mobilization ? because they sacrificed themselves to protect their land and carrying thier flag? or because they killed ISIS?
    who address Iraqi forces as shia militia is simply considered as (Isis sympathizer )!
    these reports were taken from Iraqi sunni politicians who helped Isis Logistically!

  • @beetleking5650
    @beetleking5650 9 років тому +2

    You are pressuring Abadi too much. The shia people face daily bombing in the sunni areas of Baghdad. The Diayala mall bombing killed at least 70 people and some of Militants wantend revenge but you cannot blame the whole group of one man... Yeah and its true that its very hard to catch these people because Iraqi is very corrupted and there are too many thing going on that are more improtant than catching some thugs.. The economy challenges, Isis and Corruption reforms..
    Its true that Fallujah resident are facing famine but most of the Fallujah resident has fleeing after Isis took fallujah and those that are starwing are kept by Isis as prisoners... Usa are afraid of giving them Aid because Isis might use them instead of helping the the people. This have happened in Ramadi too.
    The Iraqi goverment are like Mafia.. You cannot fix corruption in one day.. Its has became cultural thing and if you try to go against some group.. They can use violence against you... Its very hard to game and you even might need to sacrifices your life to it..
    Dont blame Abadi for Isis capturing Iraq because that responsible goes for Al-maliki and his Sectarianism..

    • @albaghdady2007
      @albaghdady2007 9 років тому

      +beetle king You are wrong. Every day there are tens of innocent children and women are dying in Falluja by the evil forces of Abadi. Abadi himself from sectarian background who openly supports theMilitias act. He does not care how many Sunni kids have died in falluja from bombing or poverty, all he cares about how to
      wipe the whole area from people. The way he sees it it is a battle between the people of Hussein (Shi'a) and the people of Yazid (the Sunni), he is still stuck in the old history. He is not suitable for ruling Iraq, he should be tried as war criminal.

    • @beetleking5650
      @beetleking5650 9 років тому

      +Oday Al-Baghdady
      1.First of all Abadi and his force Liberated ramadi from Isis and saved the Sunni civilians that Isis held them as Humanshield and prisoners.. Ramadi bigger city than Fallujah.
      2. Secondly most of fallujah residents have fleed from Fallujah.. So there are only small amount of people that Isis are held them as prisoners and Iraqi army is trying to liberate it but its not easy because Isis have booby trapped every building possible... If u want blame then blame Isis for destroying the area.
      3. Abadi is not sectarian.. He is trying to best to avoid sectarianism but people like you are the supporting sectarianism by generalising...
      4. The SUnnI SUPPORTED ISIS.. They could have avoided it but you were too pissed with a maliki..

    • @albaghdady2007
      @albaghdady2007 9 років тому

      +beetle king
      There is no liberation when Shi'a Militias kills innocent people, bombed people houses and prevented those outside returning unless they become Shi’a. This is not liberation.

    • @beetleking5650
      @beetleking5650 9 років тому

      +Oday Al-Hasan
      What people shia has killed? Revenge attackers are criminal no doubt...Do u know what is happening in Iraq? They are trying to liberate Isis from Sunni areas? Are Isis now the innocent civilians?? The air coalition is not trying to bombing innocent people.. They are trying to bomb Isis and what you can do when they hide between people? This is war.. you cannot just let Isis take Iraq.. They would massacre even more people that you can imagine.
      Just two days ago Isis massacred 1000 SUnnis in mosul alone.

    • @albaghdady2007
      @albaghdady2007 9 років тому

      Abadi and Maliki funds the Shia militias to conduct terrorist attack against the Sunni cities claiming they are all ISIS, now nearly the Sunni wiped out or run outside Iraq. This is not acceptable, this is a war crimes and the Shia government and their Ayatullahs should be judged by international war criminals and to be hold accountable for their crimes as war criminals.
      This is how they justify their evil action and sectarian cleansing.
