Bio: In High School, I began taking lessons with the Second Trombonist of the Atlanta Symphony at the time, Nathan Zgonc. Through band class and my private instruction, I was eager to pursue music even further. After High School, I attended the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and earned a Bachelor's in Music Performance, studying with Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Bass Trombonist, Denson Paul Pollard. While at IU, I attended the National Orchestral Institute twice and recorded an album with them (Gershwin, Harbison, Tower & Piston: Orchestral Works). I also participated in the IU Wind Ensemble, various orchestras, the trombone choir., and chamber groups. Despite moving away from a musical career path, I still am eager to play the trombone with others.
